A yoga studio moved smack right next to ours! Their studio is much more detectable than ours. If we were to provide prospective clients our address, they might even mistakingly end up going to their studio by mistake thinking it is ours. We are afraid of this. We are already within need of more clients...and immediately with this thing in our hand it may be bad for us We own no money to move out since we'd put all our money into this one. What can we do?
Answers: that sucks. my first telephone call would be to the landlord if they are contained by the same building and ask them what they are thinking and check your lease, you should of put a clause contained by about similar businesses not person allowed. but if they are in a different building you're simply going to have to be a better place.
Make bigger signs, that's a rough situation, you stipulation to do some intel, find out what they charge, what services they provide and figure out what you do cheaper, differently or more effectively. Also put some form of unique confidently recognizable piece (like the om symbol) on your door so you can tell your prospective clients to look for that. Also you are going to enjoy to realign you price structure to maintain competitiveness beside them. Unless you're restricted by your lease, II would paint your door a unique but tasteful color. That route you can tell clients that you are the yoga studio beside the "red" door. The above comments are good as ably!
Good Luck.
I can't believe the other place would move right next door to an existing business of like kind - pretty stupid on their sector and the landlord could use some more brains too
