I know we're not particularly thrilled to be surrounded by a negative equity situation. We purchased our house over 5 years ago when near was solitary one builder in the subdivision and the price be on par with the others within the area and more than we could afford within the actual city. Two years later our builder disappeared and a cheaper builder come on board. Three years next even the cheaper builder has stopped building and any homes that own sold have adjectives been contained by foreclosure. After 5.5 years of paying a mortgage we'd still probably lose an easy $30K if we tried to vend any time soon. And so we wait some more. Not within the slightest and having worked for a buy to tolerate "company"who used to practically steal from unsuspecting homeowners ,homeowners suffering from mental heath problems alcohol problems and debt problems and so on .Yes i will be elated seeing them fail,a moment ago as i will be happy to see property's become affordable to adjectives.

I got a 100% mortgage on a flat almost 3 years ago but soon discovered that it was the biggest mistake I've ever made within my life, I be lucky, I managed to flog up about 3 months past the whole credit crunch started. If I'd hold buried my head surrounded by the sand (so to speak) I'd have be in more debt than I currently am within.

Looking forward now tho, I will be debt free within 2 years, around about which time, the flea market should have stabilised.

I enjoy no sympathy for the buy-to-letters tho.
