Are we obligated to consent to our landlady verbs to show our property?

We gave our landlady the required (per our lease) 60day discern. Ever since, she has be calling *non-stop* wanting to show our home to prospective renters.

Unfortunately, she makes the appointment first after calls us. She just gives us a few hours perceive. The problem is that, in amalgamation to packing & preparing to move ourselves we have be working a ton of overtime. We are rarely home & almost are never available to show the house when she have set the appointment. We try to accomodate her, but normally we simply cannot.

The landlady call multiple times a week, sometimes multiple times a day for yesteryear 2 months~ needless to say aloud, it has be incredibly frustrating.

Our lease is up at the end of this month ~ today we are packing & moving the ending of our stuff. This is really the only hours of daylight this week that we can devote to moving. But our landlady wants us to be around to show the house today.
Our we obligated to tolerate her? She only have one more week, afterwards we will be gone.

I have need of the number to the "Bank of NY" to contact them nearly a foreclosure. Any lead would be great!



Answers:   I agree with you going on for the landlord waiting basically one more week. I mingy come on now, she have had multiple showings surrounded by the past two months and no body have shown interest in it? Is here something wrong with the property to start with? If so, next she should wait to acquire it fixed up and then start showing it to prospective tenant. Unfortunately for you, most leases hold a clause in them that allows the manager to show future residents your property, I only can't believe that it's taking her that long to rent it out!

You have the right to set up Appointments not your LandLady, because you are still the tenant. Tell her do not make any appointments until she have spoken with you first and if she say that she wants someone to come by surrounded by 1 hour tell her no we will be rear in 3 hours . dont permit her control you. or dont answer the phone and call her pay for at your leisure. I would offer her your schedule and ask her to work next to you. Be sure she knows your work and moving are taking up your time. If you tell her you will be within and out, she needs to deduce as well.

On duplicate token I would expect you to work with her. A friend or relatives member could give a hand by being here. You could give her a switch.

You are almost out of there. Don't brand name a drama out of it.

Your lease allows for showing the property to prospective tenants next to notice, but you are not one-sidedly required to be there to show them- she is.
Tell her that you are moving and she is warmth to meet the prospects and show them herself. The verbiage of your ask says a great deal. You are wrong, this is not your property it is her property and you are trying to deny her to right to find another renter for her property.

She has a knob to the house, why can't she just show it lacking you if you happen to be out today?

It sounds approaching she went out of her agency to accommodate you. There is no requirement that you be home as she shows HER PROPERTY. None, she has a knob and as long as she gives you perceive that she is using that key she did not necessitate a freakin' appointment with you.
