Amid falling house values, our County Property Tax Assessor (Texas Denton County) has continued to increase our home TAXES for 2007 and 2008! We protest to lower the Assessed Value every year but the reduction are too small and unfair. We are so tired and disgusted by unmerited taxation every way we turn.
Is near any USA town or area that have no schools as a result charges no school taxes?? School excise is 56% of the total home taxes. We appreciate any helpful solutions and tips.

Answers: every nouns has academy taxes. Many areas have a hospital duty, stadium tax, parks and leisure tax on in attendance too. Two things are certain within life, annihilation and taxes.
In my area they approved a hospital to be built and added $300 a year to my duty bill. we did not have a choice surrounded by the matter
The answer is no, in that are no areas that don't have college taxes. Even communities that don't have a college have to rate, because the kids from their community go somewhere--and not for free. School excise is always the largest element of your real estate rates bill.That's just the bearing it is...you pay a great deal.
ps- yes, retirement communities (55+) don't use the public schools, but they foot for them. So long as you own a home, you pay taxes. End of story.
