As a foreigner (from Mexico), Can I buy property surrounded by the UK?

I'm exporting goods out of Mexico, and I'll be within town for a couple of years. So the question is: can i buy definite estate? If i can what would the requirements be? I'm thinkingof spending around 300 grand. What would you recommend?

Answers:   Yes, near are no UK laws on the subject of what nationality population have to buy to be here. lb300,000 will carry you an average property in London, or a really nice one in any other portion of the country.

The only issue would be if you be looking to take out a mortgage, and next you would need to own been resident surrounded by the UK for the last three years (but again, residency is not an issue). I'm assuming you don't need a mortgage though.

Not much to affix, except that if you don't have much time to look for a nice property, you may consider a property finding company who will do the legwork for you and will negotiate you a fully clad price (well, they did for me), see link below. There are slightly a few about but i would try to achieve referrals to reputable/trusted ones. Of course they will charge a tax but it could be worth it.

I agree with others on here, better appeal out of London and if you can buy period property surrounded by a good town or city later it is likely to hold its meaning well. Edinburgh is fantastic but I'm biased as I live near.

There are regulations about money launder, but assuming this is not a problem, then you can buy a house glibly enough. You bring more for your money in Scotland, which is where on earth I have moved to.

Yes you can.in that are regulations concerning money laundering, so near may be some formalities as to where any deposits or other monies are coming from..you have need of to get contained by touch with a UK Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer.If moving to London, 300,000 should bring you a reasonable small place on the outskirts. lb300,000 will procure you a nice 3 bed place in the london suburbs, or a nice little apartment within one of the nicer areas of inner london. other parts of england are a lot cheaper. but nearby is no issue with your residency and the purchase of property.
