Bad credit, want to trade my condo and move into an apartment.?

My condo community has decline terribly and is crime ridden and falling into central disrepair. I'll take a huge loss to deal in it, but I really want out. My problem is that my credit took a huge dive when my husband made one bad ruling after another and left us surrounded by serious debt with no passageway to really resolve the problems on only my income. I would a bit rent an apartment closer to my employer, but worry that my credit rating will prevent me from getting anything but the slummiest places. Has anyone have any experience with this, and can you distribute me some pointers?

How abundant empire do you know who are contained by forclosure or bankruptsy...?

Answers:   Try renting from individuals instead of apartment communities. Most landlords don't care more or less your credit as long as there is no eviction nor a foreclosure.

sometimes subletting doesn't run credit, also several small time landlords dont know how or dont spend the $$ to run one - look for non-agency aprtments in houses, or even roomates ad for a large house near single woman or something... also, despite what people vote many times you are money ahead by renting cuz, no home insurance, no taxes, & no repair costs
