Best place to look for a room/studio for rent within internal NJ?

I'm looking for a room or studio to rent for the school year (sept - may) and while the arts school website has folks, its really limited to really high-ranking rents (I'm hoping for anything less than $700/month).
Besides Craigslist...which scare me a little.what other resource and i use to find a room/studio?
