can you be evicted for not disclosing a pregnancy?

Question:my friend just found out she be pregnant. she's trying to find an apartment, but when she brings up that she's pregnant she gets denied to live nearby. is it legal to do this and could she be evicted if she doesn't disclose it past moving in?
(this is surrounded by boston,ma if that matters)

Answers:
It is illegal to descriminate on your friend due to her pregnancy. "Familial status" is a protected class so anyone denying your friend a home is violate the fair housing work. (Unless of course if at hand are covenants that prohibit children from living in a reliable building or development)

Other Answers:
I would think its allowed, but i would take this up beside a lawyer.

that sure sounds fishy to me..... and I don't think she have to tell them up front she's pregnant. I would save that fact to myself to avoid any nouns. That is one of the dumbest things I have ever hear of! No, it isn't legal. Why should they fastidiousness if she's pregnant if she can pay the rent? I've hear of people not getting hired for man pregnant, or getting fired, but never denied tenancy.

They might deny her because they might have head paint in the building. They shouldn't do that, they should remove the front paint, but that cost a lot of money.
Is she single? They might deny her too because they experience single mothers not paying rent prompt.

They should solely be concerned if the woman can't make the payments. It should not be risky. She needs to show the leas-see that she have insurance. This happened to me beforehand, most landlords that deny pregnant women or people next to children don't have Lead Paint Removal Certificates, for this reason if your child ever got Lead poisoning they could be liable for accepting the tennancy.

I'm not sure if they could evict after the reality, but why take a destiny with your child if that's the case.

Other than that, I'm not sure in the order of the legality of denying because of pregnancy

my husband and i want to buy a latest house but cant until our feeble one sell.?

Question:We are scared that the spanking new one will get sold to someone else past our house sells. Is nearby anything we can do to keep that house from individual sold?

Answers:
If you are religious, you can pray....If the house if meant for you, it will adjectives work out. If not, I believe that something better will come around.

Other Answers:
You could go into contract to buy the house contingent upon your house mortal sold. My parents are doing this right now. There house be on the market and someone made an tender and they accepted. The contract is contingent on the buyer's of the house to supply their house first. Some people may not want to enter into a contract near this provision but it is possible. It may take longer and be more aggravating, but yes, it can be done.
Put a bid surrounded by on the new house and, if you win the house, see if you can't gain it into the contract that you don't close until your house sells or, as an alternative, specify a specific closing date that would be sometime up until earlier your mortgage commitment expires. How long has your house be on the market? You don't impart a lot of info; could you afford to transport both places for a month or two until your house sells? You enjoy wiggle room as the bidding process, inspection, etc. adjectives take time back you have to commit.
Put a bid on the house one the grounds that you will flog your old one. If it is agreed then put a modest price on your house so it will market quickly, if you underprice your house after you might get multiple offer, thus a bidding war, if you overprice your house consequently everyone will not look at it, even if you do a price reduction following on.
Source(s):
been nearby, done that
Maybe pulling out some equity of the old house to put a down reimbursement on the new one. Is your credit worthy to get a 100% loan for the unusual house? Or get a 2nd mortgage to salary for the closing costs.
Talk to your lender about getting what's call a "bridge loan". Some lenders call them "home to home loans" but your mortgage lender should be used to. If your credit is good and you qualify, you shouldn't lose your dream home. Good luck!

Is it sheltered to purchase a home surrounded by Las Vegas in the subsequent few months?

Question:

Answers:
safe characterization what? Is the market going up or down you penny-pinching? Las Vegas has be one of the hottest markets surrounded by the last couple of years immediately. Sorry, I'd try and help more but your sound out is too vague.

Other Answers:
no
why not?
As long as you do your homework, YES.
I enjoy lived in Las Vegas for 11+ years. I am a Loan Officer for a severely well know Mortgage Bank contained by town and I have an bureau in a ample Real Estate office.

There are concerns within this market place, but in that are definately GREAT deals to be found. You basically have to look into respectively deal and when you find the right one, be all set to put in the donate.

Yes, home prices shot WAY up over the last few years, and YES some of the maxed out prices own slipped down a little, BUT those that bought these houses low and missed selling at the top, still have clad equity and are selling them from time to time at well below current marketplace levels.

Working near a GOOD Real Estate agent that has a biddable network will find these deal time after time. I see them getting passed around the office adjectives the time.

If you are looking to buy a new house and flip it right away for a huge profit, that isn't promising to happen anymore. If you want to buy and live here for a while, the time is right to be buying.

Even the tentative homes being built are offering a ton of incentives right presently and some are even lowering their prices on fall-outs.

So, overall safety is here, a moment ago don't overpay by not doing your homework.

Good luck and feel free to contact me near any related questions,

I put my house up for trade, but I enjoy changed my mind. Is at hand a cost?

Question:Because I lost my job so I fixed to sell my house a bit then lose it, however I found a worthy job so I enjoy changed my mind about selling my house. It here a penalty for shifting your mind?

Answers:
You can change your mind in the region of selling your house. But if you have an agent, and the agent have produced a qualified buyer with a full-price propose on the house, you owe the agent a commission, whether or not you go through near the sale. And if the agent have expended time and money (for ads, say), you owe something for that even if he or she did not produce a buyer.

Talk to your agent and see what the hypersensitivity is. Make nice: promise that the agent will get the address list when you are ready to flog. Offer to pay (at least) any out of pocket costs. But if it get nasty, the fundamentally least you can do is to be uncompromising something like selling. Stick to the absolute jargon of the deal. No price conference, no repairs based on the inspection, etc. You are properly entitled to stick to the strict terms of the information bank agreement, even though everyone knows to expect at tiniest a little flexibility. Chance are that buyers will steer clear of the house if you are approaching that, and the agent will recognize that reality and be willing to compromise.

Good luck, and congratulations on landing a right new position!

Other Answers:
You might not get your information bank fee fund, but other than that, I don't come up with there is any other cost.
You can probably pull it stale the market for a small tax. If the realtor spent anything on advertising your house they will want to recoop that money.
Nope. Take down the 'for sale' signs, call for the realtor and say you've arranged to keep the house, and narrate potential buyes you've changed your mind.

If you signed a contract with a realtor, in attendance may be a penalty charge built into the contract. The realtor would do well to forget going on for it, though, because they'll want your business when you DO decide to get rid of or buy in the adjectives.
it depends on the status of the house and if you have a information bank agreement if you hired a realestate agent or a realtor you would have to articulate it over with them you could lose some money , or the house or both .
WHat type of contract did you sig/ Exclusive right to flog? Open listing? Exclusive agency? When does the index agreement end it have to be for a set date. Have anyone wrote any offers if did you adopt or give a counteroffer?

Okay powerfully if you sign an exclusive agency agreement with one broker you hold the right to sell your own house in need paying a commission. But terminating a contract surrounded by the middle of thing would be detremental and could grasp ugly. The bazaar is starting to slow so if you sign an agreement thats about to stop wait and cool it past its sell-by date. And do not sign to renew no matter what they read aloud we are salespeople and we almost say anything so mind.

Good for you keep your house its the american dream and if your on an arm amortized loan i wouls loose change to a fixed rate becaue interest rates are going up on june 29

peace

ps. invest in money right very soon CD's Bonds Treasury notes and if you can for a moment gold> gold bullion similar to from a site called goldmoney.com
No cost can be assessed, ask your agent for a cancellation of contract and tolerate him/her you would like to WITHDRAW/ CANCEL fact list you house from the market. The with the sole purpose way an agent is entitiled to a commission is when and solitary after the final sale of your house, any media hype, gas, etc your agent may have invested, will be his/her loss, you cannot be charged for any of this. Although you are surrounded by a small computer bank next to other agents you may get a phone bid or two. from other agents who look at the cancelled or withdrawn market to fnd out if youve changed you mind , but button them with tolerance or list your number near the "do no call registry ", same registry as telemarketers etc. to stop unwanted call.

Can you report an apartment complex for not fulfilling their management/maintenance duties?

Question:And if so, to who? The management at my complex sucks really unpromising. No one is ever in the bureau to answer questions, appropriate rent checks, maintenance is nonexistent, it's ridiculous. I'm supposed to notify them that I'm moving out and not renewing my lease within thirty days and I don't know how I'm supposed to do that when I can't get a hold of anyone. So yeah, what can I do?

Answers:
If you live contained by the City Limits where you live report them to the City Codes Enforcement, If outside city edges report them to County Codes Enforcement. They could with hold the rent you owe them until they fix the problems.

Other Answers:
Send them a certified notification advising them of the date you plan to move. That is adjectives you have to do. You might want to check your state's law on tenant/landlord rights. You should be able to find this on the internet.

send a note. save and date it. set the complex smouldering that will attract them also if you ahve maintanance issues that were not resolved you might be eligible for a discount or not enjoy to pay rent at adjectives read the fine print on your contract

If they own a mail slot drop a copy of your intent to hand down with the posted date and retrieve a copy. you have fulfilled your condition.

In the rental agreement there are down specific maintenance work they hold to complete.

Your local housing commission or Chamber of Commerce will direct you on how to make a formal complaint.

If you trust a advocate ask one for advice. i will you well. Well if it be me I would send them a reminder first and get a copy of it after send it to your innkeeper and then I would
phone call a Lawyer and ask them what you can do, But do it over the phone. they might help you or communicate you who to contact. I hope this will help
Robert I would suggest on finding out if it is owner hand or is managed by a command co. Look at your lease agreement and see who the management/owner is and try to call the leading office. See if they hold a sister property.
If your planning on moving and not renewing your lease, I suggest a certified letter beside a return signature. To CYA, make sure you nick pictures of each room, so they can't come posterior at you and falsely charge you for any damages.
If your lease is up they can't charge you for rent provided you are moved out by the date your lease expires. I suggest you also dispatch your keys certified post as they can charge you for failure to return the key.
Just remember CYA is the most important entity :)

Is it a seller open market nonetheless for genuine estate?

Question:I want to sell my house but relations say it is a buyers flea market not a sellers souk right now any planning. Dallas Texas

Answers:
A buyer's market?? I reflect on it depends on the housing market you are contained by. In some markets, sale are still going strong, while in others, in that is more inventory on the market than of a mind and able buyers. So I would speak it depends on the market It appears you are within Dallas Tx, I think Dallas is at an equilibrium right presently, but what I would do would be to do what a buyer does when they are about to buy a house and look at CMA - comparable flea market analysis to see what similar homes sold for, I would also look at what similar homes currently on the market are selling for. In doing this, I would see how my property stacks against those currently on the souk, price per sq ft of my property to the others. I would also do an add/subtract on price with other properties. So if I hold a pool and the current market cost of putting within a pool is 60K, then to compare my property to others, I would whip that out of my cost. Finally I would look at the days on market for respectively of the homes currently on the market. Based on the information uncovered, consequently determine if its a buyer or sellers flea market. Hope this helps and best wishes beside your home sale if you agree on to go ahead near it.

Other Answers:
Hopefully the seller's market that have been raging for some time immediately is really finally coming to an end so that I can for once finally afford to truly buy a house. The news is suggesting that the bullish housing bazaar is starting to show signs of slowing - way departed time!

Keep surrounded by mind...........

Times and markets are varying!

In California with average homes selling very well over $500,000, a 20% decline is $100,000! In any market 'timing is everything'! So, could you afford a loss of 25% of your investment adjectives because of poor timing?

This last up cycle be 10 years in oodles parts of the country. The downcycle now started within CA, Wash DC, NYC, Vegas and other hot areas of the past are adjectives soft and getting softer.

From 1990 to 1996, the average home in San Diego lost 20% of its' convenience! The cycle we are now enterng looks approaching it could well exceed that on the downside!

With adjectives the 100% financing, interest only loans, EZ qualifing etc...even a slight decline will end in many to be not sufficiently expert to sell for the amount due on their loans!

For some great 'insider' articles on the San Diego legitimate estate market, which I believe will apply to any of the hot material estate markets of olden times five years.....visit:
