I sold a house that 3 years after I redo the master bedroom and bath. It relaly needed it, but what I chose I chose for ME. The relations who bought it seemed to approaching it, but I could care smaller quantity if they rip everything out. It's their house now. I enjoy my memories.

The National Association of Realtors predicts a much slower rate of return for 2006. They predict a 10% increase surrounded by property values for California.

Well, it depends on the nouns you're looking at, square footage, # of bathrooms. I know that condos are going from $200,000 and up. I'd say a 3 bedroom, gated community, and a garage would put you close to or even over $240,000. But again the nouns you would want makes a big difference.
