Mostly the freeholder is covered to check the property out AFTER GIVING REASONABLE NOTICE to the tenant and has to be at a fine time UNLESS IN AN EMERGENCY. both of us buyer and seller signed the contract on friday after a week of going support and forth over the phone about small details. i call to get an appointment for the home inspection, but accidentally found out that the retailer is still showing his house to others who are coming in for a second viewing and say he will still negotiate with others.

he say that since he has 5 business days, he is still entertaining offer. what do i do? i live in illinois. we never signed the open part of the contract where on earth it asks if he is allowed to still keep his home on Dutch auction. is he allowed to get a contract signed and consequently still entertain other offer. i dont want him to use my contract to leverage with other population. the home is very desirable, but we are on a budget. also i am not selling my current home so near are no such morrtgage contingencies based on my current home.

attorney is out of town till tuesday. this is getting in my person in charge. its that sunken heart feeling of loosing your dream home. he be talking next to me like he is qualification me that the deal may not budge through since he is getting another better offer.

can i argue near him using the good belief covenant and fair dealing covenant?
