Recommendations for full-service movers?
Question:
I am moving from the San Francisco Bay area to Boston and am looking for recommendation for full-service movers. Thanks.
Answer:
Hi,
I would totally recommend North American Van Lines. We moved from Monrovia, Calif. to Seattle, Wash.
We packed our own boxes, but they loaded and unloaded. I know they also offered packing services.
They come out on a weekend (many others wouldn't) to give us an estimate, they be on-time for pickup, worked quickly. Were friendly and kept us informed of their progress.
Had a two-day transfer window and showed up on the first daytime, unloaded quickly, nice guys.
Had a problem near paying them -- the credit card we used was a Debit Card so it refuse to accept the size charge that we tried to push through. After the guard upped our daily restrain, it still wasn't enough and they be willing to break up the settlement into multiple days. We were supposed to income any overage above the estimate in change but we didn't have it beside us (we forgot) when they were unloading. We offered to bring it from the bank, but they made a phone give the name and said it had be put on the card saving us the trouble.
A few days subsequent the company called to conduct a short survey and clear sure that we were completely pleased with their service.
It's still on our to do chronicle to send them a thank you details commending everyone along the way. Completely merry with the entire experience.
Only piece that didn't survive completely intact were tiny glimmer board bookcases. Was able to repair the smash up with a staplegun. (They said they customarily have to do that sensitive of repair.)

Do realtors charge the buyer a payment higher than their commission?
Question:
When I went surrounded by to sign the papers to make an legitimate bid on a home my realtor is charging me $350 if the sell of the house go through on top of her 6% commission. Is this adjectives practice for realtors? She said it's her fee and most realtors charge a payment to buyers for their services. I can't find anything on the internet that verifys this.
Answer:
It sounds like an admin excise. A large number of companies are charging this payment (they may be calling it something else) now. In my nouns all the voluminous franchises and a lot of the independents are charging from 150 to 250. It's a cast-offs fee. Pure profit for the brokerage. If your actual agent is unloading any of it I would be surprised. It's just one of the reason I left a colossal franchise for a small independent firm.
no not usually
This is very unusual. Find another realtor.
That realtor is had it for you. They have a contract next to the seller. There are closing costs involved above and beyond the sale commission but an additional excise to the selling agent is not one of them.
Did you sign papers to THIS statement ,,,?Sometime I have gotten them down a point stale their commission but then if she is doing something special for you and you agreed all right you pay

Well here in Michigan we own several real estate school in the surrounding areas, so you can probably go through around a online to get some serious information or find a school contained by your area. I may also be a suitable idea to look in your local library to do your own research on current real estate practices contained by general . I believe you can finish the classes surrounded by 40 hrs. one week or part-time dark classes, so it's not a long course, and well worth it.But I truly reflect on that hands on is the best study tool in this trade choice, although the hard work and dedication could sooner or later make you unbelievably well rotten. Best of luck!

Doesn't nouns right?
Question:
Quick question, I'd resembling to move into a rent house, the guy that owns the house is asking for the deposit to hold it, which I thought was no big treaty, but he's also asking for the first months rent too on top of that and I haven't lived within the house yet for a month for him to warrant charging me a months rent up front. Is it usual to pay the first months rent plus deposit even if you haven't lived within the house a month yet?
Answer:
Whats typical is First, Last, and a Security or Damage deposit. The concluding 2 are often confused by both renters and owners of rentals. Last is also a sticky issue for frequent to understand. The ultimate months rent doesnt mean you are automatically covered for the 2nd month if you dont salary the rent on time after month 1. Last months rent doesnt apply until proper and timely make out is given to the landlord of your intent to move. The month you dispense such notice is still considered a middle-of-the-road lease term month. You can be made to settle up a late excise plus that months rent by assuming it was already rewarded. Before moving in and once moved out an inspection / property condition form should be completed to asses and document the indisputable condition of the rental. failure to do such can suspend up a unwarranted portion of your damage deposit. The protection deposit should be refunded upon your vacate the premises. The damage deposit or the portion of it remaining, inwardly 30 days of vacancy. If you do not receive such or a portion later there should be a invoice attached explaining where on earth the missing amount went.
Yes, impressively normal.
Most of the time rent is collected prior to the month you live at hand. But you may be able to work something out next to the landlord to retribution at the end.
yes. you hold to pay a month contained by advance.
Yes, this is commonplace. Most landlords will charge the first month's rent up front, before you even move within, along with the deposit. This is an extra assurance for them so that they know you are upright for the money and truly are planning on moving in and are not going to flake out then.
Now that being said, if you signed a rental agreement on December 15th, but the agreement be that you won't move into the house until January 1st, your first month's rent that you pay up front surrounded by December should cover January 1st through January 31st. You shouldn't have to be paying rent for time contained by December when you weren't actually living surrounded by the house.
The usual is first and last month plus a lay waste to deposit.
What doesn't sound right? That's standard practice. You ALWAYS settle rent in mortgage, i.e. the rent for January is due on January 1st.
First time renting, huh?
it does sound unnatural. He should not be asking you to pay if you hold not lived there a month.
Nothing abnormal about this at adjectives. Rent is up front, you are always salaried in mortgage.
It is very middle-of-the-road, you aren't paying for your rent a month after living in the house you take-home pay a month up front. Most landlords ask for first and last month rents up front. Make sure you overlook your rental agreement sensible so you fully understand what you are getting into.
