There are three bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs.
I'm currently using the one downstairs as an office space,
i enjoy no master suite what so ever.
would it be worth it to take out a bedroom upstairs and make the addition of a master suite?
I don't want to lose any money, but i'm definately not trying to gain additional profit from my house when i do settle on to move.
i'm just worried around there person only two bedrooms upstairs and the other one downstairs.
i'm really wanting to shift ahead and add a master tub and closet, it's just me but my brother will be moving within within the subsequent year since he's going to be attending college here) and i definitely can't see sharing a bathroom near him...
so basically..
would i lose a ton of money contained by the house by doing that?
Answers: One way to draw from an unbiased belief on whether this would be worthwhile is to contact a very experienced realtor aware with the nouns. Perhaps you could "pay" for a consult. They have their pulse on what is selling, what is expected, etc within your area. In standard, bath upgrades are flawless sellers and return more or less 75% of their cost or more. You would still have technically a 3 bedroom house when you combine; so my guess is that this would be worthwhile; and you could control costs so you would not invest a ton of money Sometimes a more imaginative design (such as by using a designer) will give you a bigger roar for your buck and recoup even more $.
Particularly if you lone have 1 bathroom (in next to that many bedrooms), I can't see creating another one as anything other than a angelic thing.
You enjoy to check those stats with comparables surrounded by your area. Every nouns is different and the mater suite may add more worth than the one less bedroom may bear away, or maybe the one smaller quantity bedroom will be more a detractor than the master will be an asset. You need a pro to analyse that for you, but within my expiriance it would be at least a mop up (even).
And making a bunch of money is great thing. There are lots of right things you can do with more money. Those who regard money is evil should move to Iran, where it really is evil, lol.
Contact a material estate agent or two in your nouns.
See if they would be willing to look at your home and tender you an opinion. Even if they charge you for their time - it's all right worth the money to do the research before you do a renovation.

Why are realtors lowering selling prices even when it really won't engender a difference?
