My wife and I live within Seattle and rent, we would love to buy a home, or at most minuscule a condo or townhouse.?

We have a 2 year mature son and are tired of throwing away our money to the apartment owners. We would hate to move to some other portion of the country as we really love it here, but homes, condos and townhomes are crazy expensive. What one would pay here you could take it almost half the price contained by the midwest for example, but we are doing our best to stay around here. Are there any types of programs available here within King County that help low income earners such as ourselves to acquire a home, or even a condo or townhouse? We are freshly tired of giving our hard earn money away to someone else and having nil to gain from it. Any suggestions, please?

What happen to the second mortgage when the first mortgage forecloses?

Answers:   I'd start looking at government housing department websites; in attendance may be a federal, state or local program you qualify for. Here's the HUD site, which has some federal and state info: http://www.hud.gov/buying/index.cfm

Also check if you're eligible for anything through your employer or federation. I've heard of both public and private employer having programs to support their employees afford housing, especially surrounded by spendy cities like Seattle.

Real Estate/Mortage?

ask a RE buyer's agent to back you find
a bottom end section and ask him-her to
seek out the few REO props that are available
[bank foreclosures].
YOU will find something; you might simply
own to start with a condo and I don`t know
drive 15 min to work...

Does that help?

My bro lives within a condo there.

Renting out furnished apartment surrounded by virginia?

Move out of King county and move to Pierce county. You will find a nice 3-bed. 1.75 tub home for around 200K to 250K. You could not pay me to live within King County the traffic is so bad and the homes cost at smallest 100-200K more. I live in a 4 bedroom, 1.75 hip bath rambler with a 2 vehicle attached garage with a deck prospect of Brookdale golf course and a hot tub in a nice neighborhood and well-mannered schools. The convenience of my home is around $215K to $225K. And Seattle is only 35 miles north. I of late appraised a home in seattle for a time dump of 980 sf built in 1948 near 2-bedrooms and 1 bath contained by a bad neighborhood and it come in a 260K, I cant believe what associates will pay for home surrounded by King county. Have you talked beside a lender to see what you qualify for? That should be your first step. Can't buy apples until you know what price they are, right? Also, ask the lender about downpayment and/or closing cost assistance from non profit organization to help you catch in.

Next step, I'm sure you've research the cost of things online - (Realtor.com) to see what typical prices are - correct? Next would be to find a Realtor to be precise knowledgeable contained by the area you would close to to live and one that listens in good health to your needs. I'm sure nearby are a number of sandbank owned and/or foreclosures that would afford you a home with little to minimal repairs. Best of luck!

What determines the $ amount per sq. foot within the TRUE estate listings?

Talk to some friends and possibly a few Realtors abd ask for the names of virtuous lenders.
I would talk to 3 lenders (a mix of bank and mortgage companies). You can compare loans and programs that way.
You will also want to interview 2 o3 agents, to find one that will work complicated for you and is easy for you to obtain along with.
I know how you perceive about prices. Our median home price is $630,000 and condos are priced at $320,000. With insurance, taxes, utilities, etc., it's tough. But it does tempo renting.
