Unless you are a property speculator/investor are falling house prices really as unpromising as the medium clear out?

As a serious investor or speculator of anything, surely one of the first rules is to accept is values may topple.
So does the average buyer, buying a HOME rather than a breakneck money maker enjoy much to worry going on for if prices fall, for example 20%, across the board?
To my mind the solitary ones who really suffer are the lenders. I don't have to borrow so much and as a result I foot them less interest.

What should we do next to an unreasonable owner?

Answers:   I'm staying surrounded by my house for at least five more years. Since I reward taxes on the value, permit it crash!

I live in Houston where on earth we have have steady 4 or 5% appreciation for the last ten years, so the bubble and it's burst hold really had almost no effect on us.

The unpromising decisions related to exotic mortgages is what front to this mess. People buying what they could not afford, and speculation driving up calues to unrealistic numbers.

This "correction" has gotten prices rear to where they belong.

Who do I contact?

No are not unpromising as the media say. In the last 6/7 years houses price tripled. who bought the house 6/7 years ago is not worried at adjectives but who bought from last year to immediately is in hysterics. My personal opinion is to dawdle of buying up to the time that the market settle down. home prices are falling from their incredibly overinflated prices to their norm. the drop sour is extreme and that is the problem. frequent people bought at the glorious prices and their mortgage bills exceed the actual cost of the home which can skew the equity.
