I'm listing my house, this week. We live surrounded by the lower mainland , BC. Does anyone know standard real estate commissions? I've be told several things...7/2.5%.to 5/2.5%. I'm assuming it's depending on the individual realty and realtor. But what I'm really looking for is what is the standard median commission? If the percentage off the first 100K is flexible, than is the 2.5% on the rest flexible as capably? Not interested in the 1% realty's. Second examine..how is that comission usually divided between the buying and selling agent? Thx for your time.
