I rented for 2-3 years. We had cleaned the house and have the carpets proffesionaly cleaned. We did our totter out inspection on the 5th. The lady said that it be 'one of the cleanest houses' she has see. Our deposit was $750 we get back $20. The claims be for $230 cleaning company, $100 carpet cleaning, $65 fo a untried showerhead (when we moved in we put contained by nice high pressure showerheads - when we moved out we took one of them near us and replaced it with the outdated showerhead that was on it beforehand and left the other one untouched because my husband didin't hold the right tool on him), $100 for yard maintaince - the request be done 10 days after move out, $70 electric bill, $10 water bill (both of these bills I compensated the final payment on and even own a credit for the water) $130 for 5 days rent - (i would be will to pay that - although we be told as long as we were out by the 5th it would be ok. And some other charges. Please share me what you think.

Landlords are shady like that. My hotelier came within and did all that stuff when I technically wasn't out of the place even so, didn't even give me a occasion to get it done myself and took my deposit. i think specifically too much. I would contest the cleaning co charge if i had paperwork showing it be clean when i moved out--as far as the showerhead, it is the ruling that if you put something in or do something to advance the house that it stays when you move-you are not supposed to remove things like that regardless if it be paid near your own money or not-any bills owed that you say you compensated then you should prove that you compensated them and should not have to pay cheque again.
I recently moved and recieved put money on 525.00 of a 600 dep--only 10 dollar charge for carpet 25 for sanatizeing counters which is automatic no concern how good you verbs and the rest for cleaning the blinds----so i think you should rec much more pay for then 20, the item is you have to enjoy proof in writing--most those hate giving any deposits hindmost so they try to come up with any motivation to keep it-good luck
