My friend, Emily, and her family are moving (somewhere else contained by the same town) and they are selling their house. My nearest and dearest are looking for a house and we are concidering on buying Emily's house. Do you think that would be wierd?
Answers: I don't reflect it would necessarily be weird to buy a house from someone you know. However, hang on to in mind that if near are any "skeletons in the closet" for that house - things that involve repairs, things that don't work properly, etc - that they don't disclose, it could cause tautness between the two of you as you come across things that may seem "shady".
And believe me, here is always something surrounded by every house that a new owner comes across and is not actual happy near. Not always a through thing, sometimes only just minor annoyances, but as long as they are honest with you in the region of anything that may need work or doesn`t matter what, I don't see why it should be strange.
I will say this though - ALWAYS go and get an inspection, even if you know the person!! We bought our house from my inlaws, no inspection because we trusted them - BAD mistake!! Lots of issues that they may or may not own known in the region of (it was a tenament property that they didn't inhabit, a moment ago owned and rented out). It has cause some stress between us and my inalws.

it wouldn't be weird. my parent have done that before, but we be younger. and i know some kids from high university, im 17, who have done indistinguishable thing. one own flesh and blood moved out, her friends family moved contained by, after they left , their other friends inherited m,oved in. its of late life. if you dont chew over of it as weird, later it wont be. if your still worried about it, speech to your feriend about it. maybee you can sleep surrounded by the room that wasnt your friends, so it wont feel close to yoiur stealling hers. though in veracity, it wont be hers any more. that dont make much scence. but angelic luck any way. No I don't ponder it's weird. In certainty it could work for the benefit of each group.
Your family can benefit for at hand not being Realtos involved, freshly go to two Real Estate Attorneys and it can be great.
Make sure the is a provision that is to say fair and equitable to both party, you can't complain next year if the grassland didn't grow.
Not at all every time my friends move out of houses instead of it self weird they are other telling me to buy it so it shoudn't be strange it might take some time getting used to living surrounded by your friends old house but at smallest you know your way around! i judge its nice, will feel out of the ordinary at first but u will get used to it and it will be nice knowing the house u live contained by and also, your friend can visit her hoary house =)
