good idea and plenty of money to be made, i own a domestic appliance and repair company we also do pat testing.
try lettings company's and offices to get started as all these environments require electrical safety testing.
i take it you do have the relevant qualifications and a pat machine.
not sure what you can charge up there but down in London we charge £35 registration per 100 items and £3.50 per item then you have repairs and fuse changes etc.

How to ambush personnel stealing from you?
I own a retail business and I have deeply streong feelings that 1 or more personnel are stealing from me. I believe it to be our counter sales staff ringing up an item for a different price and pocketing the difference.How do I stop this and surrounded by what other ways can I catch them lacking the use of a camera ?
Answers: Without a camera this becomes almost impossible. There are copious covert types of cameras that the employees will never know are at hand.

Your register should show the amount of each public sale which you can compare to your inventory out. If the numbers don't match, the time stamp on the register will consent to you know what time it occured which should allow you to figure out who be at the register.

Its all going to cost a short time money or time. Have a complete inventory of your items and a computed tally of all your produce. Inventory your things and count up your money at the end of respectively employees shift and the one who doesnt game is your man.
Tough situation to have workers you do not trust. Do you know they make cameras that are pseudo? They look like solid security cameras and would fool your staff and save them on their toes but do not have the cost involved.

Are they stealing from you or from the customer? I would suggest you post a sign that states that if an item is rung up incorrectly you will reimburse the person twice the difference...empire will begin to check their receipts and you will know if in that is an issue.
Other then that, you will own to rely on the other employees to tip you bad. Let them know that you will give them x amount of money if they turn within their fellow coworkers with proof...consent to them know that you will do it anonomously.

Get a camera, catch him - and convey it to the police office. You've get to have PROOF up to that time you can start blaming someone. The police won't care if you vote, "Oh, he's stolen from me, and I know it!"

Why don't you want to use a camera? That is going to be the best agency. Or you could pretend to leave impulsive or something and then put by and watch them and see if they steal. Also, you should sermon to them. Maybe explain to them how honest and trustworthy you think they are and how glad you are that you own such honest and trustworthy employees. (Don't be too clear, though). this might prick their consciences. If you hide and in actual fact see them stealing, then you should confront them and ask them if/why they are stealing. But you shouldn't lay the blame on them until you are absolutely sure that they are, within fact, stealing. You could also enjoy people you know exploit as "secret shoppers" and run buy stuff and closely observe your workforce and report their findings to you.

Cameras are the best!! If they know you are human being watched they will stop or be caught.
It sounds similar to you need to stir through your receipts each morning. Now would be the perfect time to start doing it, it self the beginning of the year and adjectives. Check the item bought, priced charged against your inventory database. If you don't have an inventory database, you might consider installing one.
You can also reassign the force to various other tasks. This can confidently be explained as cross-training, making for better employees. You can also require that human resources take a break each year. If you distinguish any differences in your tills during that time, you've get something not working right.
Develop a system of checks and balance to make sure everything is working the agency they need to be.
If that be true, the receipts would not match the set off for that till for the employee.
1. Only consent to one employee use a bread register per till.
2. If you must have 2 or more force use the same till, see yourself first and re-read rule 1 above.
