Answers: I can't help much, and I've not pursued it, however
www.esources.co.uk would be a devout place to start for drop shipping (free on a basic level) and they make a contribution free advice too.
Best of luck surrounded by your venture.
I dont niggardly to burst your bubble, but you are asking for trouble if you havent done ebay before and start trying to flog.
There are SOOO many scammers and schemer, dropshippers, and chargebacks that when you add surrounded by ebay listing fees, paypal fees, shipping, insurance, packing textile, etc. the remains are pennies (or pence in the UK).
I promote you to visit Seller Central on the ebay forums. You can read adjectives the stories of people who attain burned daily, but thinking that they will buy things for pennies and put on the market them for pounds. The only point they get is a bill from ebay.
And not a soul will give you their supplier if they surface to have a dutiful line. With margins so slim, more competition is unwanted.
Start out by selling a few things you have around your home first. Maybe some DVDs, or CDs. Dont expect to catch paid highly much, but use it as an educational experience.
Good Luck
Avon customers?
does anyone have any creative tips for getting avon customers and keeping them or even freshly tips on selling avon in common thanksAnswers: Here are some of my favorite tips. I hold use these myself and they have worked for me.
1. I amble neighborhoods and hang a pouch on the doors. I use the What's New bags, put contained by a book, and business card and a note that say who am am and how they can contact me. I get give or take a few a 2.5% return this way. I enjoy pick up most of my customers by doing this. Having the business card in near really has abet me, I have notice that sometimes people will bid me 2-3 months after I left a book and ask for a bright one. They will tell me that something be going on at the time and they didn't make it by the date on the book, but they did hang on to my card so that they could call me then. I do this in the Spring, Summer and Fall. In the winter I don't because I nick my kids with me when I do it and I regard as it is just too cold to enjoy them out. You will get a better return if you knock, but I can travel faster and cover more area by not knock.
2. Every 4-6 campaigns make the addition of an extra book into a couple of your current customers orders near a Refer a Friend bookmark in it. I don't do it so habitually that I am always petitioning my customer for new lead, but often plenty that they remember that I am always looking for different customers.
3. When I park my car contained by a parking lot, I put out books on it for people to lug. I have a small shower caddy next to section cups on it that I can stick to the posterior window and I enjoy a sign on it that says FREE TAKE ONE! The trick is to individual put out 3-4 books at a time, more then that and individuals don't seem to hold them, don't know why.
4. Any public restroom that I visit catch 2-3 books. I like to set them by the sinks, but if the restroom if valid busy I will leave them contained by the stall. I figure that if someone is going to be within there for a while, they may want something to look at, might as okay be my book. I have see people thieve my books out of the bathroom with them.
5. Whenever I stop by a place that has a waiting nouns with magazine, I leave a book or two down. Doctors, Health Dept, Driver's License place, I have even be know to toss a book or two on the table at the post office or contained by the shopping chart that I had be using. I had a library give the name me one and tell me that I give a couple of books there. I said "Oh, did I forget to put those stern in my purse? Sorry going on for that, but please feel free to look at it and overrun them on to your co-workers." I ended up beside a $50 order from that one.
6. When you budge out to a restaurant, leave a book on the table beside the tip either resting on the book, or sticking out far enough for the waitress to see the money surrounded by the book. I know some people enjoy even made up a goody bag for the waitress. (a small baggie, near their business card, and couple pieces of hard candies and a indication or two, footwork products would be great for them.)
7. Any time you met other moms ask them if they would like a book. The park and McD's play areas I hold found to be hot spots. (I always disappear books in the McD's play areas when I step to them). My kids go to a library group most of the other mom's know that I trade. Most order from me. When I bring in up treat bags for the kids (Halloween be the last time I did them) I included a halloween lip balm for the kids. I have so many directives for the lip balms after that, it be great.
8. If any of your current customers work at a hospital, nursing home, wal-mart, any place that has abundantly of employees ask them to clutch a couple of books to work and put them in the break room for you. I own a customer that works at a nursing home that does this for me, in exchange for her doing this I endow with her a free hand cream once a month (I put a "To Reorder ring up Cheryl (555) 555-5555" sticker on it.) She has told me that she other takes the appendage cream into work and shares them with her co-workers.
