Answers: Go to http://www.grants.gov for a list of government grants and how you can apply for them. However, there are no grants for a for profit business unless you are opening a daycare.

Answers: Even tesco doesn't know how lots individual customers they have. They own no way of tracking individuals bar through their clubcard which of course every customer doesn't convey.
They could probably tell you how several transactions they carry out per year, which would be surrounded by the 100 millions probably.
You could take a fully clad guess by looking at their total sales on their financial statement and after dividing through by the average transaction amount. The average transaction must be about lb30-40 for fuel or groceries.
