Selling on Ebay?

If I sell my Cd's on Ebay
1. can I market them without the casing, or even without a clear bag?
2. what if they're partially scratched

Answers: You can put up for sale them, just describe them accurately and price properly. Being an eBay user for several years, I expect you'll have trouble selling them. You can other try and see, but you may do just as in good health selling them at a pawn shop or music store that buys used CD's.
You can put up for sale them, but make sure you enlighten people exactly what the condition is of what you are selling. As you describe them, don't expect to receive much, because the shipping alone may be more than a damaged compact disc missing its case is worth. You might own to sell a load of them as a single lot to make it worth it to someone, within in that baggage, I'd keep them.

Does a person need to have a business degree to own their own business?

Answers: No. You don't even need to have graduated from high school. The more you know about business the better off you will be running one of your own, but there is no minimum qualification for owning your own business.
No, you do not need your business license to own a business.
My family owns a commercial real estate business, but neither has their business degree- they do; however, have real estate licenses.

I want to start a cleaning business, how much should I charge per hour to clean a home verses a small office?

Answers: 1. Caculate your fixed costs your vehicle loan and wages including your own (that you need to survive)

2. Break it down into weekly expenses lets say $300 per week.

3. Now estimate (be conservative) how many houses you expect to clean a day e.g. 4

4. Now caculate your variable costs like cleaning materials, fuel, depreciation of equipment like vacum cleaners etc (take 100% of the value over 12 months/4 weeks) say this comes to $50 p/w for 4 houses x 5 days.

5. Now add fixed cost per week + variable cost / 20 (5days x 4 houses per day) = 300 + 50 / 20 = $17.5 cost now add your profit say 25% = 17.5/ 0.75 = $23 per clean check opposistion rates to see if in check.
$15 per hour for a home
$20 per office
You might want to consider a set price instead of hourly...when they call take a look and give an estimate...

example: 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, kitchen, dining room, den, living room...$125 per visit

2 Bedrooms, 1 and 1/2 bath, kithcen, living room $65 per visit
The best way is working and practicing for the local house cleaning service company for yourself if you ask this question. Otherwise, you are spending quite a money and time to get the bottom ends meet. In 2005, I started house cleaning business in Chicago and spent quite a money. It took 2 years to get all the info in many different resources. I now operating the commercial cleaning and sanitation service. We are not a maid service but only sanitation for the residential so I usually give my customers to local cleaning business owners.
There is many cleaning associations you can participate. I can give some input best I can via microcleans(a)yahoo.com.
