Starting small business?
My mom and I want to start a mother daughter business making rag dolls, of many sizes, I was wondering since It would be a home base business, how would we go nearly getting word out, and what would be the best method of advertisement.and how much over cost wold one commonly charge...were not trying to procure rich or make a complete lot of money, its just species of a mother daughter thing that would dispense us a little bit more of a coincidence to work together, and keep doing what we similar to to do...Answers: Starting a home business is great, congrats! The first thing i would do is identify your target flea market. Who would be interested in buying homemade dolls? Young girls? Collectors? A great opening to start advertisement for free is the internet, craigslist will administer you a ton of exposure for free. Also consider sponsoring an all girls soccer squad or anything that will allow potential customers to learn more or less who you are and what you do. Ebay is a another way to achieve exposure. As far as pricing goes, tag on up the total sum of what it cost you to create each doll next price and see what other competitors are selling there dolls for, next price your around that range or cheaper...Hope this help! Sorry, too far away, I work for a company that have it's own courier service.
Sorry to sound unenthusiastic, but you will need to hold a lot of contacts and associates to craft it work.
A cab firm or local courier service would be a far safer bet to start rotten with.

I agree with the posting your business offer in the classifieds and suggest you also have a statement of your business offer ready to send for those you determine are serious.
Your statement should include what you are offering your business partner, what you expect them to add to the business (expertise, money, management, etc.) and how the compensation will work (how much they will be paid, when and how).
