Answers: Well ... just find a business college close by. I have a sneaking suspicion that with this profession where on earth you go to institution matters that much. It's more result orient. And you have a devout chance of have a company take a providence on you because your income will be off of commission.
Maybe you should start out by calling a handy Realtor and see what kind of warning they'll give you? It can't hurt.
I enjoy a few friends who went to college for this. It didn't pan out, but it is really a small investment surrounded by time and money for the schooling and license, so there's not a lot of risk. You really should move about for it :o)

Myself and two partners are contained by the process of buying a building (we have a contract on it) and we own a great budget and business plan written for a 24 hr diner downstairs and a lounge/bar upstairs.
