How can I be sure that the fastening will wages me the agreed commission on merch?

I am providing badges for a belt I book shows for (I will be making an order next to a supplier), and am considering placing an order to get rid of at sell at the shows. How can I be sure that the belt will pay me the agreed comission on the merch sale, ie. telling me they solitary sold XYZ amount when they sold more (to get more profit)? I have need of to make not solitary the money I spent on oerdering the merch, but also to make a profit.

Are within any ways to monitor this, as I need a more gauranteed path, other than the decoration giving me their word.

Answers: You are providing the merchandise and you agree on the amount you are to receive for all sale. What they don't sell they enjoy to return to you, so whatever is missing is sold and they payment you the agreed amount.

You should have a written contract. It does not own to be complicated, both both parties should agree to it and sign it. If you own something in writing, you hold recourse when you don't get rewarded.
verbal agreements are binding within most states, but if you don't trust them, them sign a written contract, and have it notarized.

why are you dealing near this band if you do not trust them?
The merely sure way would be to man the booth that sell the merchandise youself..

good luck to you.

Starting own business is good. But you requirement to do research before doing any business. Also revise about painting... The most important things is to put adjectives you mind in your business.

Good Luck!
You want to work on your business model.
First is "what" - can you source the products, store them, and sell them on near sufficient mark-up to make a profit.
Second is "who" - how are you going to find your customers (putting a brass plate on your door dictum: Carole's paint and wallpaper won't get them queue up).
Third is "check out the opposition" - how do you get your customers to buy from you to some extent than Homebase, without going bust.
What you own to consider these days that the DIY stores flog these commodities at slightly lower costs than a high street shop (even though sometimes their aspect is not so good). Price for this kind of stock is very relevant.Secondly you entail to consider where the shop you put up for sale from is situated, because of the heaviness of some of the products you would be selling ie 5ltrs paint etc, your proposed customers wont take these things very far, they would require effective by car park. In my experience, within the town where I live 7 years ago we have three independent shops selling these wares, then a DIY store moved surrounded by, two of the shops have gone, the third sell very expensive wallpapers etc which you can't draw from at the DIY, consequently they only enjoy a small turnover and apparently are just keeping their go before above water. I don't longing to put down your idea but these things requirement to be considered. However if needs be, follow your dream but examine it does not become a nightmare. Best of Luck.
