As an IT admin, would you proscribe gifts? I offered to buy a coffee and pastry to this nice IT admin and?

he said it's against office policy to adopt gifts for your job duty. Is that correct bureau policy?

Answers: Many companies have such policies. It prevents the appearance of bribery and bad behaviour.

:)
sounds like they didnt know how to knob the situation properly

they wont be allowed to accept gifts
but this be a coffee and a pastry, it could also be construed as a "date", sounds like the be a bit flustered as to which one it was and used the no gifts policy as an excuse
some guys don switch these things well,
even if that wasnt what you expected! lol
As an IT Admin I do refuse gifts rather often. Mostly from vendor trying to sell me toner etc.

His company may hold a policy against it but in common its just polite business practice. By taking gifts the person may surface obligated to give special treatment which may result in trouble later on.

She has even be offered hundreds of dollars to scrapbook other people's pictures because they love the scrapbooks but don't have time to do it for themselves. How plentiful of you here can honestly build a successful business in need the use of parliament financing of any?

kind nor in need having to support some type of government contract?

Answers: I built my business lacking a dime from the government. If anything, the organization taxes and regulates me for their own benefit. They get contained by the way here surrounded by upstate NY.

All I did was basically get licensed and started selling policies on my own until I have enough money to rent a place and hire empire. It was a ton of thorny work, but today I have 6 organization and 6,000 clients.
I owned my own business for 15 years and never once thought about going to any one for a loan.

I've done it. I contemplate anyone who builds a home business can easily say-so they didn't involve the government contained by any way.
It's relatively the opposite, the organization involves itself in my business to achieve their piece of the pie.
