I own a retail professor supply store. I work beside frequent companies, but some companies force a minimum?
purchase on their goods. I am small store and sometimes I don't requirement as much as their minimum purchases. Do any other business owners run into this problem? IAnswers: Yes, many companies enjoy a minimum order and MY company have one too.
Here are the reasons. It costs a set amount to process an lay down, rather it is for $5 or $5000.
I enjoy to pay for the phone, the computer, the hand to pack it, shipping into my business, the box to ship it, the postage to mail the invoice, etc., etc., etc.
When my company processes a physical small order, we would in actual fact lose money in paper and wages paid to my member of staff. Add to that the 4% that a credit card processor takes, I purely can't afford to ship money out the door.
For retail, another reason here is a minimum is to keep consumers (your customers) from buying direct from the distributor/manufacturing. This in actual fact protects YOU. Else, once your customers found out they could get the products at your cost, why on globe would they pay you your markup?

How to make business cards?
Answers: Vistaprint is a good source, they do regular offers when you sign up that will offer you the cards and other compatible stationary in matt free of charge you just pay the postage and they have loads of templates to choose from. For a business starting up with little to no money to spare these are great and you can always up date them professionally when the company is more established. I opt for the gloss which you pay a little for but still cheaper than printing your own. Good Luck
Staples, Office Depot, etc.
You can make your own but the others are professional.
