Selling on Ebay? shipping issues? tips?

I want to sell some items I hold in ebay. I'm thoughtful of afraid about the shipping entity, how difficult is the shipping issue?
and.how do I know if some old items I hold here and good books I already read would in actual fact be bought on ebay?
Any tips from experienced sellers?

Answers: You have need of to get a postage rate booklet from the post organization. Ask for the booklet that has adjectives of the zone information by area codes and prices. You will also entail a cheap digital postal scale. I bought one at Walmart for lower than $20. This is so worth the money if you plan to do a lot of shipping, because there's zilch worse than losing money overall because you miscalculated shipping. Been there, done that!

You should weigh your item beside the box before you post a shipping price on the ebay posting, or you can choose to own ebay calculate the shipping for you. You can make a payment a "handling" fee to the price if you want, too.

BTW, if you're selling books or electronic medium, you can get the "medium mail" rate which costs a lot smaller number than standard first class, and it will only bear a few days longer.

Hi.I'm wanting to start an on queue business, but I don't want an inventory. Any accepted wisdom?

I want to be able to trade a product without have to keep an inventory. Drop ship would be the answer, but I'm not sure what product(s) I could get rid of that would do that. Any ideas out at hand? Right now I'd approaching to supplement my income until I retire in a year or so.

Answers: Have you ever hear of Zazzle? It's a web-based "store" that allows you to design your own products -to be purchased by you OR to be made available for purchase online. It's so cool - I go nearby whenever I'm looking for something unusual, t-shirts, etc. - I can buy stuff that other people enjoy designed (and they get the profit) or design my own. I've never have any experience with the sale part of it... so I can't read out how easy i.e. or what % they take - but they claim it's really unforced & profitable. They claim to have created the site specifically for empire who wanted to return with into some sort of product design & sales - but couldn't afford the cost of the huge inventory that you'd necessitate to get started. You may want to check it out. - I dream of there are similar things out near, but this one is zazzle.com.

Of course, there's always Ebay - I talk to a group of moms who made such an easy profit selling their kids' used clothes & toys, that they started buying topical stuff (a) discount toy & children's clothing stores - then selling that stuff online. It's be two or three years since my conversation with them, so I can't right to be heard if they experienced real long-term nouns with this - the bottom may hold fallen out of their bazaar for all I know - but they have been doing this for ~8 mos consequently & they were sure smouldering!
well your first step is finding out what you want to put up for sale

then travel online and G00GLE dropship _______ (whatever idea you come up with)
Try Melaleuca.com; they have a range of products made from natural ingredients such as detergents, shampoo, makeup, household cleaning supplies, vitamins, etc. I use their products and they are great.

I am not a perfect sales human being; or I would be doing it. I just signed up as a premier customer to procure the discounts; but I order every month for myself along near a few friends that also like the products.

You don't hold to keep an inventory; I know that for sure; unless you merely want to.

Let me know how it goes; angelic luck
I concur with no products or purchases required. Why not provide the best product in the world - Travel. Harvard Business School stated opportunity of a lifetime. Listen to Dr. Seligman & examine presentation bottom right - both on home page. Thanks.

While reading through the answers I missed one.
Selling info-products.
This can be done in abundant forms. Writing it and then selling it. Being an affiliate. Starting a membership-club. Selling on EBay or starting a shop. If you want to know how such a shop looks close to look at mine http://www.lavabooks.com which is on-line since a couple days. It's build around open source which money it's free.
Beautiful thing beside this is that the order-delivery process is automated.

So with info-products you enjoy no inventory and you have no time fruitless with packing, shipping, etc.

G00GLE around and you'll find deeply of useful info. Only one entity. Beware of the gurus who claim to make 1000's within a month. It's still work and when it sounds to good to be true it is.

Good Luck.

Do you reflect its easier or concrete?
