I’m currently in institution getting my BS in Natural Health and will receive my PH.D after that. Since I will be operating first as a Natural Health Consultant out of my own place; is that the same as owning a company or is that consider a practice? Could I solely be labels as a Sole Proprietor, or could I Incorporate, or LLC?Answers: Because someone could sue you for malpractice (or anything else they considered necessary to) you need to protect (keep separate) your personal assest from your business assests. A C-corp you must set up a corperate board of directors consisting of at lowest three members. If you are going to own employees dance with an S-Corp to gather on taxes. Otherwise, if it is just you, walk with an LLC, tiniest amount of paperwork.
