I am interested in starting a business doing event planning. Do you know what route I should transport to pursue this? the taxes you will owe are horrific, I own a small business and had no perception that the amount of taxes owed for self employment, state, federal, business license, insurance and there is more will chomp through you alive...

Find a SCORE office hard by you and ask for thier help. SCORE (Select corpse of Retired Executives - I believe that is what it stand for) consists of a great number of expereinced general public who offer their lend a hand in starting and managing small business. You can find them by putting SCORE on the address strip of your search engine or look beneath Department of Labor. They are sanctioned by the government. They can assistance with your business plan, marketing research and strategy, something like anything you need. They also provide classes at a highly reasonable price. You may also want to check into an Economic Development Office contained by your home town; they will also have affiliations next to SCORE.
