I'm going to be making my own store.. Name Ideas?!?
Hey.. I'm thinking of opening an online store selling mostly vintage/indie clothing and gems etc..I'm having trouble thinking of a term!!..
Something original... hmmm..
Any concept?! lol..
Answers: i dont have any sugguestions at the minute. but permit me give you some counsel to narrow down your choices. consider of something easy to remember, and different. dont travel with something complicated if not people wont remember its pet name to return to it. read lists of indie band or song titles for inspiration, or other related shop names. or Think of a simple word (and it may describe one of your products) or their initials?
i regard as you should think something like what or who inspired the idea, and try to incorparate that entity place or thing into your company label ,
good luck contained by your venture x

The Vintage Number
"Times Gone By"
A rip stale from "past times"?... yep..lol
Or what almost. "The Cat's Eye"
i just hear a tip on the radio last dark, from the numberslady.com saying that it is going to be a upright year for business and when naming a business consider its numerology.
i don't know if you are into that but it might be a thing to consider :)
this is nought much but how about simply "vintaje"? ;)
Treasure (I assume a simple one name word is best).
Treasure sounds sophisticated to me and if it's already trademarked adjectives you have to do is implement a innovative design to the title.
Here are some ideas.
Here are some alternative French spellings for the wod: vintage.
vitrage
avantage
voltage
vin ^agé
vin ^age
vendang
Here are some synonyms for the word vintage:
Synonyms: classic, typical, traditional, essential, prime, pure, first-rate, first-class, archetypal.
Do you close to any of those?
How about running a competition within your area through your local the Fourth Estate, or with local minor schools/colleges etc to get adjectives the locals to come up with a label.
That way you catch free PR in the local the media, school/college newsletters etc both announcing the competition in the first place and consequently announcing the winner, maybe with a photo of you hand the competition winner their prize (which doesn't own to be expensive - how about an MP3 player for a tenner?) and if you win photographed with the unbeaten name/logo being held up too later it gets it within front of people right from the start. afterwards once they start to see your business up and running they will already be familiar with the logo/name etc and your business will own instant credibility.
This is just an theory - adapt it at will!

How can a kid start a non-profit fund resembling the Susan G. Komen Fund?
How can a kid start a non-profit fund like the Susan G. Komen Fund?my friends little sister wishes to start a fund like the susan g. komen foundation and for duplicate reason. To failure breast cancer forever. But first of all what is a non-profit outfit she wants to know? Is in that such thing as a profitable group? How can she start an organization minus a lawyer or an insurance agent? And type it surrounded by words that you think she would have a handle on. And she will be starting it by herself.
Answers: "Is there such entry as a profitable organization?"
Yes if they be keeping any of the money they made.
I think deeply goes into in reality building a new non profit administration. And in words that she probably won't deduce. As an adult, heck I don't get some of it either.

My best suggestion would be for her to feel up a *non profit project* of sorts. What can you do that will make money that you will after donate to an existing organization? Can you hold community events? Can you sort crafts that you will sell? Can you provide services?
I don't really know how to clear a non profit organization any, and I think profusely of work probably goes into it. But I own a PROJECT in the works of something I am doing that will hopefully generate money that I will after donate.
We really don't need more organisations for it - along next to all the overhead and duplication of go. Instead, have her find involved with the existing alliance and help make higher funds.
When something works, don't try to reinvent it.
Setting up a nonprofit is complicated and oddly adequate, expensive. As a child, your friend's sister has no credibility, no endorsed standing and no understanding of what is involved. If she would be prepared to volunteer for the Susan G. Komen Fund, they would welcome her next to open arms. There are any number other not-for-profits out in that if she wants to shop around. She could swot how it works inside one, until she is old plenty to start her own.
Where does she think the money comes from? Is she going to knock on doors?
Unfortunately, scam abound. There are any number of "charities" that spend the bulk of the money they collect on "administrative" expenses. Any start-up charity is regarded beside suspicion. How do we know she is not going to pocket the money?
A non-profit organization is defined by the IRS surrounded by paragraph 503(c). It's all gobbledegook, but the gist of it is the nation who run a nonprofit cannot get rich from it. Usually most of the ancestors in a nonprofit are volunteers, and gross a living in another available job.
I volunteer for Community TSC, a 503(c) nonprofit organization faithful to finding a cure for Tuberous Sclerosis. You can read about it here:

Go surrounded by person to your State Comptroller's department and see what forms or requirements are needed to register your organization beside your state.
How do I budge roughly speaking getting lisenses to enjoy an online buisness?
I am 18 and want to start an online store on ebay. Please assume that I become sucessful (I'm not worried about the Anti-Ebay relatives out there). Do I need an online buisness lisense and how much is it. Also do I want to claim it on taxes and do I need lisense for that to? I am young at heart and don't know anything about taxes and permitted things.Answers: You don't need a license to operate an eBay store.
If you desire to be formal about it, you can register your business. Note that business registration is different from business license. In some states, you simply need to cram out an application form, select a name that is to say not currently used in the state, and foot the application fee and you can hold your business registered (if sole proprietorship)
You don't really need to register your business when claiming expenses and income for taxes. You simply database a SCHEDULE C form.
