When seeking express written permission from a company, is it best to use smaller amount information on what your trying to do and have them contact you fund to get more information or to explain within detail what your trying to do in the initial communiqu¨¦ to them and risk them not responding and taking your idea or concept subsequent?Answers: If they have posted that you can not use their information short express written permission it is usually to protect authorship and to ensure you are not using the information inadequately; i.e. for your own gains. Typically they might ask that within return for using the information that you acknowledge the source. Also they might have a standard release policy within place.
