On Ebay, is there a apparent difference between the winning bid amounts between an auction that have a duration of 5 days, versus one with 7 days. I know the second one is 2 days longer, BUT, does it really issue? Since people start bidding on the item close to an hour beforehand? I'm new to selling, in fact this is my first sale, and hold to put this product up ASAP.PS. I'm selling an LG Chocolate Phone (VX8500) and I have a reserve at $99. It is like-new, and comes next to everything that was within the retail box, and box itself. And the auction doesn't have a "Buy it now" way out.

Answers: My experience - reserves are rarely a obedient idea. Do a search out for completed listings. If you are extremely confident, you will get your $99 for it, index it auction style. I've found hat Buy It Now option with Best offer are great ideas. Example...I planned 2 identical items - one auction style and one for 19.99 BIN w/ BO. The auction style one sold or .99. The other one sold for 19.99, using the BIN. Many ethnic group (myself included), just don't want to skulk for an auction to end. When writing it up, use up every available space they allow for your title. Listing surrounded by one category is plenty, since very few empire actually investigate for items by category and you have to retribution for each category you inventory in. Make sure you don't say-so "like new" contained by your title. That is keyword spamming and will get your item pulled. Just vote EUC (excellent used condition) or whatever..post several clear, up close pictures, so buyers can see what they're getting. Make sure if you give somebody a lift paypal, you know how to protect yourself from fraud (only ship to a confirmed address especially). Don't overcharge on shipping and make sure you insure the phone. (It is your responsibility to find insurance, not the buyers). Also, make sure you history (by writing down or taking a photo) any identifying information on the phone to avoid a bait and switch. Also, create sure before you catalogue, you have satisfactory feedback to make a potential buyer trust you. If you hold none, buy a few things first, build up your feedback, and then try to schedule.
edit: You cannot block a bidder near 0 FB...the only item you can do is cancel their bid and donate them to your BBL.but if a O FB bidder snipes you may not have time to withdraw their bid. If yourefuse to sell to them once they've won, they can report you for street trader non performance.and you will capture a strike.remember, you too started with 0 FB. Also remember, if a 0 FB bidder bids and raise the price of your item...if you cancel their bids, it will walk down to the lowest price before they bid...
In your auction information bank, state that you will ship to a Paypal confirmed address only. If a bidder win and does not have a confirmed address (and refuse to confirm their address), you can open a UPI and go and get your FVF back

Sent something to Mexico with a Customs form, simply method of tracking out of country to Mexico was Customs Form number which starts near CP and ends up US. How do you track it? From tracking it through the USPS site it says item is not for sale through this website or whatever, so which website contains the information?Answers: Once it leaves the states, you cannot track it from the number on the customs form. Only instrument to track it is if you shipped it priority mail.
