How to investigate for businesses of indubitable types in a radius of a specific city?

Does anyone know of a web site, or some clever track to find certain types of businesses within a specific area (preferably short having to accomplish a separate search for respectively business type).

For example. Let's say I want to find adjectives of the businesses of the following types, within 100 miles of Omaha, NE:
aluminum castings, steel castings, hose down jet adjectives, welding

How could I do that?

This is bugging me, please dispense your thoughts??

First the state is Mississippi. Ok, here we go: I can travel on line and instruct something from a online store located here in Mississippi. I attain charged sales charge on the product , THEN shipping fees. Not a problem. Ok. Now I turn around and order a item from a personality doing direct sales, (let's influence tupperware for a example) and I am charged sales import tax ON the shipping charges. So the question is this: If order from the internet, from a company based here surrounded by Mississippi, and I am NOT charged sales tariff on the shipping, then why am I charged sale tax on shipping if I am placing a directive with a direct sale company?

Answers: I'm not really sure, because it is the state law contained by Mississippi to collect sales duty on shipping. I'm a Pampered Chef consultant and we follow these rules: Shipping and handling charges are taxable in adjectives states except AK, DE, DC, IA, ID, IL, MA, MT, NH, OH, OK, OR, UT and WY. There is no sales excise in Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire and Oregon. If I have to guess, I'd say that the direct sale company is not in Mississippi and so is following state law. It's also possible that the online company overlooked the sale tax on the shipping. I vote consider yourself lucky that you didn't have to compensate on shipping. I'm in NY and we pay envelope on everything! :)
