Quick Question?? What Should My Commission Be?
Say I sell your stuff on an auction site.It sell for 100.00. I pay an insertion charge of 1.00, a final value levy for 6.00...What would be a fair commission to net off this put on the market? I want to start my own business and want to know what you as a consumer would pay me... Mind, that I pilfer the pics and spend the time to list it and pack it and ship it rotten for you??
Please help..Some input would be nice.
Answers: Start bad smallish say 20%, next to such a small commmision you should attract clients to sell for, see how it go, if you do well you could put a price gamut e.g 100.00 to 200.00 20% then 200.00 to 500.00 10% 500.00 to 100.00 7.5%. Just mind your Ps and Qs you don't get used as a fence(seller of stolen goods) you will enjoy not much defence if and when! caught. Good luck and biddable trading, lots of people are too workshy to ebay etc for themselves. Heavy goods will be a different issue you state the percentage and add on postage(shipping)...Hey and don't forget the taxman, better out of danger than sorry :-)
first ask youself what you want to make per hour. later figure how much time does it lift to do all of that plus your cost.
if it take 1hr(amount you want to make per hour) + cost = price you should charge

But it alone will not write the plan for you, no program will. You still hold to know how to set up your target market by researching the nouns you live. do your budget, past, present, and adjectives projections. All your own wording of the plan. Your mission statement. And why your business is better than the existing businesses out there within the field you are first performance.
But this program will help you numeral out where to plug the information into, and set up you graphs and pie charts. Plus bequeath your past present and adjectives outlooks at a glance.
