When I first started I did everything it said to do in the starter kit and did every challenge my director gave me. Sometimes it was scary or uncomfortable the the end result was always worth it.

Qualifications for babysitting? Starting age?
I have be thinking about starting a baby-sitting business. I will be 14, is that too youthful? I LOVE children, love them, love them, love them! I don't know anyone in the neighborhood, but I own been thinking of giving out flyers. Do you surmise anyone will trust a girl they don't know? How can I get them to trust me? Any tips for starting this adjectives thing up? What adjectives do I need? Any requirements? Any courses I could clutch online? ALL answers are GREATLY appreciated! Thank you SO much and God bless you all!Answers: you can study a brother or sister legally at age 10 I be told by a social worker. to watch other peoples kids you hold to be at least 12. One soul can not watch over 6 kids at a time (who'd want to!).
>>> I would utter a parent would really like to own a sitter that knows first aid and CPR. The Red Cross offer classes and you could check with your college counselor they may offer contained by high arts school too. Get your teacher, neighbors, church member, or other adults to type up some references for you--that is other good to own!
I made business cards for my teen when she was your age, it individual cost me 15.00! she got 500 cards for 15.00! and she go around and passed them out, we put babysitting/childcare, house sitting, plant sitting, dog walking and house cleaning on it along with a picture (drawing on the card) of a girl holding a babe-in-arms and vacuuming at the same time (it be cute). She got lots of post offers!! she passed out contained by the neighborhood and to friends, but she said they had to provide transportation if it wasn't close to our house (which they did) pick her up, dance out, and then bring her home. 9pm on college nights and 11/12:00 on weekends. she made around 150.00-400.00 a month within the summers! but the cards are small and people will hold on to them more than a flyer's. I used to surpass them out for her at the hospital, if I over heard someone utter "I need a sitter,etc.." I said here is my daughters card (it be so professional)
so your parents could pass them out to individuals they know too. Good luck!
you will probably be interviewed
flyers are a good start
some states enjoy laws that you hold to be a cirtain age to babysit but i dont think anyone make a big deal roughly it
good luck
I would solely let a 16 year aged babysit my child. THis is not because I distrust anyone younger, but because as an adult, I hold a duty of care to any young at heart person- including someone looking after my child.
I could not go out and get the impression happy that you could operation with a serious situation - ie, direct menengitis. That would not be a situation I could deal near, and I would not expect a 14 year old to buy and sell with it.
I spend my evening worried something like my babysitter - rather than my child. So, despite the certainty you are probably very responsible, I'm still erring on the side of circumspection and paying for older sitters, Good luck though and I'm sure you are v resp. X
As both a mother and someone who babysat to earn money I would articulate that the age of the babysitter wasn't as important as their experince. My daughter and I started to babe-in-arms sit when we were 14 but I have four younger brother and sisters so I had abundantly of experince and my mother was a nurse so I know first aid. My daughter had somewhat experince but I made sure that she got first aid classes and how to act CPR. This made her more attractive to prospective parents and showed them that she would take the employment seriously. I would also make sure that she made up a catalogue of questions to ask the parents, around contact information, emergency contacts and other important things. I hope that you discuss beside your parents the type of things that they would have needed from someone who would have babysat you. That will assist prepare you and help carry you ready to rob care of those little rug rats. LOL
