Other than that, you have the option to build a business, bit it takes the investment of your time and a little bit of money.

I always searched this question on runeye.com and most of the times I was told things and I tried them out but none really worked out. I was also told about blogging, but I never really went into that until recently.

Answers: In this market you cannot make money flipping houses.
There is an enormous amount of excess inventory on the market right now.
Where you can make money is to buy single family residences at depressed values, hold on to them and rent them out.
that is what I did when I was in college over 40 years. I stll have a number of the houses that I bought when I was in college.
My only regret is that I sold some of them in the past. Now I wish that I had been able to keep them all.
I recommend that you buy houses and plan to keep them and tent them out.
That is how you make money.
What does one have to do with the other? Also...flipping houses is great...but depends on where you live and how much money you got. Economy is not looking good right now for much of anything in housing. I'd find another career until things improve...it could be years.

You say you want to start a business, not clean houses yourself right? That's two different situations. If your goal is to start a business where you will send people out to clean for you, then check your state government. If you send people into houses to clean, they would represent you, then I'd surely look at getting some bonding information. If this is a true business, SBA will help you with your answers.
If you are going to clean houses personally yourself, then that's a totally different situation. You would be a proprietor of your own business. As long as you're not breaking any residential laws, you're ok.
You may have different requirement depending on what State you are in and being able to ask an Attorney this question and discuss your potential liabilities is the First thing you should do.

You do not have to have a business license to clean houses from home. Most of it is word of mouth. Your clients tell their friends and you almost get to many to do. Remember, keep all receipts of materials you buy so you can deduct from your taxes.
