Would a small shop owner be feeling like to consign a 17 year old's jewelry?
-The jewelry I make is of well brought-up quality, especially because I hold taken a few classes and learned from ethnic group how to do techniques the right bearing.-People tell me adjectives the time that I should sell my jewelry. However, I'm solitary 17 and I don't know if shopowners would necessarily be willing to do business next to someone so young.
-I'm not really concerned next to profit, I would just love the detection and accomplishment of selling jewelry.
Answers: I wouldn't think that your age would be adjectives that important as long as you conduct yourself professionally. Look presentable when you approach the shopowners, speak beside confidence but not arrogance, and you should be just fine.
Have you considered selling some of your jewelry on eBay? That's another route to get the detection and accomplishment you seek.
If the product is accurate, and can get a devout price, they will care smaller amount of how old you are.
When I be 15 years old (and this be on the 80's), headbands were the go on. I handmade alot of them, mostly for myself, and then basically took them to a local boutique just to see if they would buy them...and boy, did they ever.
The trend last for about 1 1/2 years...but during that time they bought them as swiftly as I could make them.
What something like renting a table at a flea market or craft event (indoor if reasonable costs, outdoor when the weather breaks) and going it alone? That mode, the only middleman you own to deal near is the rental of the space.
If your jewelry is of good part, I'm sure your potential customers would love to meet the designer as all right..and you'd probably get closely of word-of-mouth recommendations.
I'm fearful that if you did put it on consignment, you'd downfall up cheating yourself. Eliminating the middleman as much as possible might be a good strategy for you.
Good luck!
