Small home business excise?
i run a small part time catering business at home ,20 to 24 hours a week,and i earn nearly lb20 to lb50 a week (profit), and sometime nothing.wondering if stipulation to pay excise ?
Answers: It depends how you set yourself up. Speak to a tax accountant who will point you contained by the right direction for a fee.
It sounds approaching the cheapest option is to claim your income on your tax return at the rates year end. This would penny-pinching you would have to pay envelope tax on the profit.
If you hold no other income, then this is below the import tax threshold of lb100 per week (lb5225 a year). However, you would need to register as self employed as you are lieble to class 2 NIC (although I reason you would get the small yield exemption). You need to register so that your NIC copy is complete as it counts towards your pension.

What is a possible rate for babysitting?
My mum said I can start babysitting soon, she said at first it can be free but I would need to cause a reasonable rate sooner or subsequently. I'd say something like $5 an hour.
If the people ask what you charge-say it doesn't matter-they usually will afford u btw. 5-10 dollars for 1 hr, and will respect that you arent pushy and are flexible :)

It depends on how long youve been babysitting, what youre trained contained by ((first aid, cpr, etc)) and the number of children!

I charge $3.50 an hour for the first child and $2.50 each extra kid. It also help if you get certified both for babysitting and contained by CPR. The Red Cross does the CPR class. A local hospital should do the babysitting class. I have found the parents trust you greatly more with it. The merely down side to the CPR class is it is not a one time thing and it cost every time!! but it is worth it. The babysitting class then again is a one time thing and i don't cogitate it cost. If it does it was REALLY cheap resembling $5.00.
