Boss won't return with sign for business?

By boss is EXTREMELY FRUGAL (cheap!). I emailed him today that several employees own asked me (over the last year) why we don’t enjoy a big sign outside. They all own mentioned the competition's sign & wonder if it wouldn’t be good marketing to own a sign on our building. I’ve had several empire say that they don’t know where on earth we are.

His response:
My thoughts. We do very little work for local clients. The City & the County know where on earth we are. Spending money on a sign would not increase our work load. Our competitor won't draw from any business from his sign.

We are a small civil engineering firm. We have a enormously small decal sign on our glass front door - but that's it.

How do I convince him to spend a few bucks on a sign?

Answers: Keep surrounded by mind that he is the boss and what he thinks is the lone thing that really matter.

Also keep contained by mind that signs are expensive and once you have it, you consequently get to discharge annual taxes on it. So the initial price is only a small portion of the unadulterated cost.

Finally, he probably doesn't want all the BS and time waster that a big sign will bring. One you announce to the world your business you will be fielding phone call from every Tom, Dick and Harry that will want your opinion on their alien garage.

How do we restore our sale! ladies!?

our business is a ladies apparel, we've been trying our best since finishing year, we have a 50% discount but it doesnt attract more customers. what is a virtuous marketing plan to improve this problem!

Answers: Offering a 50% discount is kicking your butt. All it tell me as a female consumer is that this product is not selling because something is wrong next to it. Either it's too expensive and not worth the price...or it's defective somehow. Possibly unflattering.

If you want to change the print of your company's product, you need to reevaluate everything that have to do with your product. Your product have already gotten a bad label. Go buy the book "Killer Brands". It will tell you how to reestablish credibility and facilitate you brainstorm new ides.

Also, examine the The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch on CNBC. He regularly interviews companies that have made it big within the underwear and fashion industry...those interviews can serve you set a game plan.

Hope this help.
if you can't improve your product - remodel your sales process & sale skills. I suggest reading Frank Rumbauskas' Cold Calling is a Waste of Time.

Priority e-mail cross-examine?

I am wanting to exchange a shirt through priority mail. About how much will this cost? The box i am using is an standard shoe box, and the shirt and box together is a good pound or so. About how much will this cost? Also, the company that i am exchanging the item say i am responsible for return shipping charges. Do i pay the USPS post department for their service? Thank you =]

Answers: I think you will want to whip it out of the shoe box and use one of the USPS Flat Rate Boxes:

— Available to anywhere in the U.S. for $8.95
The inside dimensions for the two boxes available are 11" x 8.5" x 5.5" and 13.625" x 11.875" x 3.375". The two boxes are different shapes to accomodate diverse contents.
o The contents of the flat rate box must be neatly contained inside the box beside adhesive casing tape.
o The box must close safe and sound and retain its shape when taped next to adhesive.
o The shape of the box may not be changed or enlarged to fit its contents.

For the return shipping, I would assume that they will only just bill you their standard shipping and handling fee and repay the shipping themselves. If in doubt, you should check beside the company. They might ship COD which would add $6.00 to $16.60 to the shipping cost.
