HELP-I want to work contained by TUCSON ! ! ! !?

It seems I am any too qualified, or not qualified enough. I would articulate that virtually half of the Tucson workforce have my resume and I am working on contacting the other half!! My dismissal has run out.gratefulness to my previous fiscal responsibility, I have stayed afloat...but the touch is running dry. I have swallowed my pride and even applied for receptionist positions which I could carry out blindfolded, but I am deemed over qualified and not considered. I enjoy experience as a manager/supervisor (9 years), but since the experience is older, I am not considered qualified for that.

* I am bright (I.Q. 142)
* I own extensive, diverse experience in the business bureau
* I am articulate in both one-on-one and groups
* I am reliable and available in a jiffy!!

Please hire me...(and I am polite!)

Answers: Dear Kathi,

You definitely come across like incredibly responsible person near abundance of skills and experience. In my assessment you are simply a volunteer victim of your own member of staff mentality.

A loyal employee mentality be much cherished and needed some 30 or even 20 years ago, not today however. Large and small corporations are moving abroad, downsizing or merging; here is no more corporate nor an employee loyalty; corporate greed is looking after its own interests one and only. They have to, for they are forced to by constantly shifting order contained by economy.

To find a company within North America where one would only just get a position to stay within till retirement is virtually impossible and if you find a place that seems to be solid, be prepared to look for a assignment again in merely a few years time.

On the positive side of things, economy is GLOBAL. We do no longer requirement to depend on economy nor profession situation in our city, county, state nor our country anymore.

I would strongly recommend to step vertebrae and to have a pious hard look at yourself. There are countless opportunity for a person approaching you in today's ever growing Home Based Business worldwide, next to rewards much much higher that any employer could ever income you.

I suggest to stop putting the price tag on yourself and pleading for a job. You, surrounded by my opinion are not merely worth, but most of all you do deserve much more than newly a job (Just Over Broke). Give it a serious thought please.
I aspiration I could offer you something, but I live further North surrounded by Arizona, and I don't have anything right presently. I know it's tough out there - but dangle on - the right something may be around the corner. You're doing the right thing by getting your heading out there - and don't verbs about man too qualified for something - get your foot surrounded by the door and *then* show them what you can do - you'll move up quickly. Good luck!

What type of business would u suggest my group to actually open for business class at our college? Profitable?

Answers: party organizer.
choose intriguing theme like 'sunset wet shirt party'
stay focus on the event management (sponsorship, scheduling, budgeting, promotion), leave all procurement to the lowest bidder.
its fun and profitable
Isn't choosing a business for the class an integral part of the Study program? So why are you asking us? Didn't you go over the points in the classroom? Were you listening?

My dream is to approachable a candle shop..?

We live in a small, rural community, and i hold had this dream since i be preggers with my first child. I own put a lot of thought and planning into my products, but i enjoy no idea what else i would have need of to do. I work in the "office" grazing land, so I have a correct idea of that dept.
Has anyone else open a candle shop? Was it worth it? I see lots of online stores. Id rather enjoy a cute physical store...
Anyways, any success stories? I would eventually own to quit my job to run the store...
How much should i bring back a loan for? Any other business adivce would be welcome.. Thanks!

Answers: I feel the best way to travel into business for yourself is to slowly ease into it. This benefits you because you can trial the waters without making too much time or financial commitment.

My suggestion is that you start making the candles from home (don't quit your day duty yet!) and next give them to culture and ask for referrals. You may also be capable of sell them within local stores. If you have a polite product and a good flea market, it will build on itself until you can eventually open up the shop of your dreams. Just be sure to cause smart decisions and try not to procure in over your pave the way.

Good luck!
and it can be very successful. I own paid over $20 for apt candles and people own no objection to spening for good stuff beside qualtiy.

Best wishes with this dream and ambition
First, you obligation to attend some trade shows for candles, since you have to figure out the product you are selling. And what else you can sell beside your candles, candle holder etc...
This will be the base of your cost of commodities. Then you will search for the best place for your store. And you can think in the order of how big a place, the operation hours for the store... etc to calculate your operation cost. And to determine what is the markup that you are going to put on the candles. And storage nouns, and hourly workers etc...

First 2 years, you might break even, after than you can start making money. But do all the numbers, so you can verbs together a business plan, then you can present to bank or people who are going to present you loans. But it is very difficult to take business loans. Be prepared with that. Start beside the bank you are working beside.

And do lots marketing research on what does your community needs. for example, if you own a church there, and you can provide the standard taper white candles, and you can bring a good contract beside, people like the decorative ones or the plain ones for everyday uses...

Good luck
Since you are contained by the "office" field enjoy you written out a business plan that takes into consideration the costs of commodities, rent, utilities, etc etc etc. What is your return on investment, inventory turn, advertizing/marketing plan, etc.? Are you buying from manufacturers or distributors..? What are their expressions (net 30, rotating), returns, etc.?

Maybe you think I'm individual negative, but honestly a "cute" store surrounded by a small town usually doesnt make much money and is a dosh drain unless it's in the building that you also live surrounded by.

Please do a lot of research
