Why do convenient stores sell their products for less?
Answers: I dont know where you live, but 7-11 in NJ charges at least 25% more for everything (except milk for some strange reason) than any other grocery store.
Maybe you mean something different..ie, we are assuming you mean convenienCE stores, and you typed conveniENT stores..
They don't, as far as I know. Most convenience stores are much more expensive than larger stores, in my experience. There are a precious few exceptions- like QuikTrip, for example. Some of their quality products are discounted.
But 95% of the time, it has been my experience that convenience stores are much more expensive. The products are more expensive in exchange for the convenience (hence the name) of the store, in that it is generally closer to where people reside.
Usually, buying in bulk is less expensive. The corollary is that buying in small quantities (like one finds at convenient stores) is often more expensive.

It sounds similar to your Mom has profusely of customer service experience which, I would guess, makes her intensely approachable.

There are really tons types of home businesses; is she interested in marketing a product she have developed? Marketing someone else's product? Still working a J-O-B, just from home?
My personal assessment (for what it's worth) would be do first determine if she's ready to shift into business for herself. This does take commitment, self-control and let's face it, time. There are various resources for starting a home business and I would recommend spending some time surfing for the opportunities out in that. Make a list of those businesses that are of interest and those that surely are not of interest. Then start talking to those associates about the authenticity of what it takes for nouns.
Bottom line, if she doesn't relish what she's doing it will never be successful.
