Work Advice?

I am branching out and starting my own property maintenance company. I want to achieve in contact near letting agents to offer them my services. The interview I wanted to ask is do they use contractors to tidy up propertys previously they let them out and who are the best pepole to bring in contact next to ie (Is the agent responsable for the work or has the owner get to do it). If the owner has to do it within is no point getting in contact next to letting agents to offer my services.

Answers: Property agents commonly sub-contract cleaning & maintenance services. Apart from routine cleaning at the end/beginning of a possession there will also be emergency situations to cover. Try to craft some aspects of your business unique (24 -hour service etc) or at lowest possible different. I would suggest you talk to them and find out what they want from a contractor and later set about providing the services they want fairly what YOU THINK they want. In the end iyt will be down to relationships and money so dont only just send a flier or if you do, phone them within 5 days to introduce yourself and receive talking.
it depends on the owner of the property if they enjoy alot of properties they maybe dont want to tidy them themselves it wouldnt hurt to furnish them a contact card ,where i live is a army estate and alot of them own to have the house spotless in the past they move out they would have be willing to take-home pay alot for a total house clean (only mentioning incase u own one near u :)

letting agents will collect rent from tenant and get a duty from the owners for doing this when a tenant needs upkeep they contact the owner of property also when tenants depart they contact owner and it is up to owner to tidy the house for next tenant if they want it looking perfect for potential tentants
Give your card to the property agents, then they can propose your services to the customer (house owner) maybe the agent would want a small discount to breed some profit as it may be regular work at a trade price, property agents use regular tradesmen so a property maintenaince company would be a great thing, verbs the house, gardening, fences etc biddable idea by the instrument and the very best of luck to you.

Even SBA does NOT give out grant. From the SBA website http://www.sba.gov/mostrequesteditems/CO...

"The U.S. Small Business Administration does not offer grant to start or expand small businesses, although it does offer a far-reaching variety of loan programs. (See http://www.sba.gov/financing for more information) While SBA does tender some grant programs, these are mostly designed to expand and enhance organizations that provide small business command, technical, or financial assistance. These grant generally support non-profit organization, intermediary lending institutions, and state and local government."

Nonetheless, you can go to the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) http://www.cfda.gov and Grants.gov http://www.grants.gov - these are two sites created by the federal policy to provide transparency and information on grants. Browse through the listings and see if you can find any admit that would support a for-profit venture.

Here is a index of federal grants for small businesses. See if near is any available for individuals for starting a business -- THERE'S NONE.
