Can I file the home department deduction next to home daycare? If so how do I do it.very specific details would be great. This is the first time I've file a 1099MISC and I need some support. I didnt make remarkably much ($5300), my husband brings home our main source of income. Answers: I am a Pampered Chef consultant and have a home department. I was told by a charge professional not to claim the home office. She said is be a red flag for the IRS. If you do want to claim it, you have to engender sure that's all it's used for. not shared beside spare guest room, no tv, etc. It has to be used exclusively for your daycare.
