How can you relay when someone is scamming you when selling something online?
I am trying to tell a item and enjoy posted ads of it on www.craigslist.com.I hold had diverse responses.
Some want the item immediately and want me t supply it to them and tell me to look for a buyer no more.. And they want my heading (to put on the check), address (so they can have a currier come pick the item up), and number (to contact me).
I enjoy heard some individuals scam you online and never really buy the products.
How can I tell if it’s a scam?
Answers: They usually impart some sob story or present themselves to be the perfect personage and alot of times they will type with broken English since several scammers are overseas. Just ask to come where on earth they are to see the product/service you are inquiring about and see if they brand name some sort of excuse. Lie and say you live or know someone who lives contained by that area who could look at it for you and more than feasible they won't email you back.
Only adopt cash from local ethnic group. Online, many relatives will offer you a check for your item and ask you to distribute it right away. This is a scam. Always wait on a check 10 days BEFORE you transport an item.
Also, if anyone offers to repay you more than you are asking for immediate shipping, it is a scam.
Even next to a money order, mind your Ps and Qs. Money Orders can be fake as resourcefully. If the person is out of the nouns, also be leary.
Good luck
You recognize a scam when they ask you to transport them money first, before they distribute money to you. Or anything with a Nigerian postal address.
