Answers: There are no grants for a for profit business unless you are passage a daycare and then it is a minimal amount. If you entail money, you will need to apply for a loan. No lender will chat to you unless you provide them with a valid business plan. Go to http://www.sba.gov , http://www.score.org or http://www.bplan.com for preview business plans and instructions on how to write a business plan.
I am not sure if you're allowed to sell services on eBay, but if you can later you could try selling through them.

I am thinking to startup a company. So what kind of grants that able to assist me to start off?

Then, go to http://www.score.org/ and in the upper left hand corner, enter your zip code. On the next screen, you will get information on the nearest SCORE chapter. Call them and arrange for a free meeting with a SCORE counselor to review your business plan and discuss various loan options available to you.

SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

SCORE has 389 chapters in locations throughout the United States and its territories, with 10,500 volunteers nationwide. Both working and retired executives and business owners donate time and expertise as business counselors.
Grants are very hard to come by. You might be able to get loans guaranteed by teh Small Business Administration, though.

Check out your local community college to see if they offer a small business center or classes on business startup. Also, SCORE might help -- the service corps of retired executives. In my state, there are business extension offices in some of the local colleges -- small business development centers that offer free expertise.
Due to the high failure rate of most startups, grants are rarely provided, and usually only to businesses that have proven themselves. A grant might be awarded, for instance, to a woman-owned business that wants to expand.

Most grants also require that you are a not-for-profit business.
