People achieve the things to sell by sale they find or come across. Discounts they or maybe friends might own by working somewhere. Some people Dutch auction the things they just own around the house that they don't use like vehicle parts, clothes, fragrance etc. You might want to see what sells on ebay and trying to find out if you can finds those item on clerance, downtown or wholesale online shops...

I enjoy dabbled beside eBay on a small basis and in truth ran a successful small business on it.
First entity to do is treat it like a usual business: you need a supplier. capture contacts and get some stock! (make sure near reliable, that was my problem!)
Of course, you can also go your own stuff that you dont want any more
Then, treat eBay as your shop!. You can actually initiate an eBay shop, but i wouldnt advise this until your turnover can cover the cost (that be my mistake). there are ways to knit you items together so people will spy you have more than only one item for sale, and you can also mention this within your item descriptions.
eBay has immediately become more and more user friendly, its really easy to follow within step by step guides, and there is also a great community of society ready to relief. There are also quiet a few righteous books on slling on eBay, Crammed with selling tips and push for.

Well everyone else pretty much answered your give somebody the third degree, about a year ago I'd be wondering why so lots people are so prepared to give up their secret(?) But Ebay have become so popular it is hard to brand a profit anymore
If you've never sold, get some stuff around your house you want to seize rid of. See if anyone has anything close to it and learn from their auctions
Most ethnic group that are making a really good profit wont explain to you how though, it wouldn't really be fair to them!
