Small Business Questions and Answers

Which one would you buy?

every time when we go online to look at things we want to buy (for example, eBay), we see a chronicle of prices for the same product. the prices planned range from, right to be heard, $10 to $17...

given the same condition (all new), we would unambiguously buy the cheapest one we find, $10, right?

doesn't that mean that not a soul would buy the $17 one? if so, doesn't that mean that THAT street trader won't even get a fortune?? but then they HAVE to be capable of sell it if not they wouldn't mark it to $17...

how does that work?

so if i try to get rid of something, do i HAVE to make sure that my price is lower than theirs?

Answers: Well, you are right by thinking that teh common public mot likely will purchase the item specifically cheapest. But in the shield of Ebay, there are also profoundly of people that will simply buy from a seller beside strong feedback. I personally do not buy from a brand new seller-just my own little quirk. The shipping fee also plays a factor. A lower priced item might own the most expensive shipping.

But if you are motivated to sell, price the item the lowest you possibly would adopt.

Here is an example: I recently placed a college textbook on Amazon.com to vend. I originally asked for $93.50 (yeah, it was a Law book and $125 new) At the time I placed my hoarding, it was the cheapest asking price. But, more seller started to price the same textbook at a lower price, so I have to lower mine. I put it down to $88.25, and then it sold. I also own good feedback on Amazon.com so that might hold influenced the buyer.

Good luck to you!
I always try to remember that cheapest is not other the best.

Also, on sites like Ebay, prices tend to fluctuate simply depending on the seller's need/desire for profit, shipping/handling, fees, etc.

Not to mention, given that the lower priced items will most imagined sell faster, eventually someone will hold to purchase the higher priced item.
And abundant times, if you have judicious shipping, a buyer will buy from you just because they know you aren't trying to gouge on the shipping.

Selling Items on Ebay.?

This is my first time selling an item on ebay and I wanted to know, when it asks you how much you want to vend your item for and you request the buyer to use paypal, how do you get the money / how does it verbs to me...does it go to my credit card or do I capture cash.? HELP!

Answers: Actually when during the check out the money go inside your Pay-Pal account it does not turn straight to your Bank account (checking or savings) or credit card. In certainty it can't go to your credit card you can just get that money three different ways.

1. Request a check from Pay-Pal.

2. enjoy a ACH Transfer which take 3-5 business days.

3. Or if you hold a Pay-Pal Debit card go to a ATM and cancel cash from your Pay-Pal statement. (Note. You must have be a customer with Pay-Pal to own a Pay-Pal Debit card.)

Good luck and hope you get allot of sale!
And before you catalogue, read the tutorials, spend several hours reading the answer center and know what you're doing before you start. There are so tons things to know before you deal in.mistakes can not only be co$tly, but they can carry you booted from ebay as well..it is your responsibility to know how it works in the past you jump contained by and start doing it..

for example.what would be the proper thing to do if an item sold for smaller amount than you wanted? What should you do if a buyer "changed their mind and asked for you to stop their bid? What would you do if a buyer did not pay for their item? What would you do if someone asked you to ship to their son at arts school in Nigeria?..What would you do if someone received their item and didn't approaching it? And these are just a tiny number of problems that could arise.until you know how to pedal every possible situation that may come up.don't list your items...
Before you even index an item, go to the ebay community and read the forums for Seller Central and Starting a Part Time ebay business. There are amazingly helpful nation there, and if you dont know what you are doing you could lose your item, your fees, and more.

Is it a appropriate perception to start a funeral parlour?

I am chemical engineering student and about to graduate. I am also notably interested in human anatomy.

I enjoy a dream of starting a funeral parlour . Is it a significantly profitable business and can it be started with a low funds? What are the special things that I have to swot up in running a funeral parlour?

Answers from those who work within a funeral parlour or own one will be highly appreciated.

Answers: You have need of to graduate a mortuary science program. Get licensed.
Funeral homes are hard to run. There is closely of overhead. You need a ton of insurance. A lot of equipment.

It would be easier to buy a pre-existing funeral home than it would be to modify a building for it.

You would want..
Equipment for embalming.
Embalming table.
Embalming chemicals.
Restoration tools and products.
Cosmetics.
A cooler. And a nice sized one if you didn't want to do business with overcrowding.
Cots.
A first hail as van. At least 1. So you could pick citizens up.
Funeral Coaches.
Furniture.
Wall art.
Staff.
A merchandise room. Casket wall, urns, markers, etc.
Electricity. Air conditioning system. Phone service. Computers.

This is merely a quick register. But already we are into the thousands.
The high thousands.

And I didn't include the heartfelt aspect. Not everyone can deal near death. We enjoy a super high turnover rate. Everyone think they can handle it economically. Over 75 percent find they cant.
Funeral directors dont really have common hours. They work holidays...It takes up plentifully of time.
You have to be accurate with population. Grieving people are unpredictable at times. It can be frustrating, heart wrenching, aggravating..disappointed.

Good luck in your endeavors.do your research and start positive your money.
you need to win some kind of amount or certificate or license, which entail a series of classes I believe- there are special school for that I think
