Small Business Questions and Answers

How much electrical work can I do in a hotel atmosphere without a electrical license?

Answers: It depends on the authority having jurisdiction. Some maintenance work or work that doesn't involve the service may be allowed. Check with your local building inspectors.

I would be really surprised if a hotel owner would be willing to stick his neck out and risk the liability of an unlicensed or uninsured electrician. Both you and the owner would be liable for any mishap.

. Legally, probably Zero. If it's only a minor repair, it's probably ok. But if it's a Replacement, or re-wiring, you need it to be Inspected by the city.
Of course if you don't tell anybody, er .
But if it causes a fire or electrical shock to a guest, you can kizz your retirement bonus goodbye.
In a hotel? I would say do not do ANY. If it were your personal home you could do minor things like changing out a electrical outlet but due to the fact that paying customers will be affected by your doing electrical work without a licence do not chance it. In fact as the homeowner you can legally do whatever you want. My husband had the electric company come and remove their meter and turn off the electric so "he" could do some electric work with a non licenced contractor friend a few years ago.

Are in that any legal home base businesses that work? near low start up costs and ongoing costs??

Very hard to sift through whats a scam and whats not - ''payment 2 dollars a month and earn 1000/week?'' c'mon...any advice for me or a point contained by the right direction

If they ask you for money they are scam.

There is no such thing as low start up... I own been surrounded by business twice now and respectively time it has cost me big time.

But if it help, you have two choices once you find your talent...

1. Capital start up... To Spend lots of money contained by buying a system that has already be tested and proven such as Multi-level marketing, franchises, established business. This cost money and can be stressful.

2. Time... You spend lots of time building, designing your own set of systems that will eventually become a big business. This only take up your spare time and allows you full control.

Beware of a promise of quick returns or low cost-quick start plans, they are not adjectives true... they usually cost money and can loose you friends.

There are huge amounts of information and ways of being contained by business but the key is to know why you are within business. Email me and I can give you more detail if you resembling and even site some sources...

Education, instruction, education ! And ASK lots of question.

I wrote a blog on advice for working from home. It is NOT a commercial for any business. It simply lays out some things you should look for, how to search, things to ASK, read, etc. BEFORE you rear in on the 'opportunity of a lifetime' matter, things I learned the HARD passageway. through ignorance, trial and error.. You can find a link surrounded by the 2nd paragraph of my profile here on answers. Also, please understand I DO NOT recommend anything to be exact placed on my blog as an advertisement.

Also on my profile is a interconnect to the "MLM Legality Test" written by a very economically known MLM attorney. It is powerfully worth the read.

If I can help further, merely give me a shout.

How complex is it to be a vendor on eBay?

I have a couple books I want to attain rid of. How easy is it to put on the market on ebay and what's the process?

Answers: To sign up for eBay you need a Credit Card or Debit Card for passport reasons. After setting up your sketch, you just move about to the "sell" link and follow the directions, it's extremely simple. Like a digital tabloid ad. It costs a bit bit to make an classified ad, depending on what extra features you want on your ad and what not. If you want a core Auction it shouldn't be more than 50 cents.
it's very tricky. there is lots of competition mete out everyone wants to put up for sale.
