Answers: Personally I'm from Belfast. The same can be said for the together of UK and Ireland. It's just that employer look at young culture as grasshoppers-jumping from one job to another, whichever pays best. And why not?

To gain over this you need to swot up about the business and research who their competitiors are. Show this past its sell-by date whenever you're taking to a manager or owner and they will particularly be impressed, it makes us mull over that you really want the job because you any like the industry or our company.

I have similar trouble when I was younger, so I started everywhere I could and joined McDonalds. Now I'm self-employed at the age of 21 and hold 3 seperate businesses. Long story short, keep trying- don't furnish up!

I want a available job within which I can read books (of my choosing) for a long time?

I am assuming that if I become a cashier within a gas station I will have plenty of time to read books while waiting customers. But how do I become one?

I guess I could run to college then earn money for 10 yrs+ to generate satisfactory money so that I can live off the interest, but i.e. too long to wait.

Answers: No ... person a cashier within a gas station does not allow you a lot of extra time to read. You would be busting your butt cleaning and stocking between customers. You know those junk cans subsequent to the pumps? They don't empty themselves. Bathrooms don't verbs themselves either. And if you take really busy you'll have to restock constantly. I've worked at gas stations and manage them. Any employees who run time out to read a book don't keep their charge for long.
I understand what you aim. I love to read. The only problem is that if you enjoy enough time to read, you any are not making enough money, or the livelihood you are doing is not very busy which make job protection problematic.
I am a secritary. So sometimes I am busy and other times i have lots of time.
They're paying you to work, not to read. (Unless you want to be a book editor.)

And LOL if you deem that you can work for 10 years and then live bad the interest. There is a reason inhabitants don't retire until they are 55-60.

Even if you worked for 10 years making $30,000 per year and saved 100% of it, that would with the sole purpose be $300,000. Then say you bring in 5% interest a year, you'll still only attain $15,000 in interest per year.

Starting an ebay business - wholesalers, Taxes, Bulk Buying Advice please?

Hi there. I run my shops ebay shop.

I muse the only road you can make serious money through ebay is if you can flog things for pennies (In which case, you any need to buy BIG, or, at hand is a chance the commodities are dodgy, somewhere down the line), OR do it as an off shoot as an established business.

After 18 months of trading on ebay, our ebay takings commentary for about 12% of our turnover. However, when you give somebody a lift into account the number of hours spent register, answering questions, packing and posting, which, contained by our case, is almost a full time living in itself, it does not engender us enough profit to discharge someone for 30-40 hours a week - which is the minimum amount of hours I choose to dedicate to it.

Your best bet, for finding out more or less beciming self employed / taxes etc is to pick up the phone to your local Tax office. They are near to help, and not partly as scary as you might reckon. Earning an income through ebay isn't any different to earning it any other means of access, and, yes, you may become liable fot VAT and other taxes - another reason it isn't as uncomplicated as you may think to bring in a decent profit - near will always be race selling stuff of the back of lorries, or not declare their income, who will be undercutting you at every turn. We apply the same thoughts to our ebay shop as we hold to our real shop, for over 25years-our price is our price, you any like it, or you are generosity to buy elsewhere! We operate an honest pricing policy - enough profit to kind a living, and keep us trading for the subsequent 25 years, but not asking more, just because we could.

As for buying your stock, and asking us to describe you where to find a wholesaler - unless you pass us a clue to what trade you may be entering, the answers are almost infinate! If you are planing to buy in serious bulk, to acquire better prices, you will need substantial storage, which will be another cost involved. Also, unless you are already involved within a trade, knowing WHAT to offer will be a bit of a stab surrounded by the dark. Remember, contained by almost every trade you get the empire who have be around forever, because they do it well, and next you get those who come and dance, because, for no good root, they reckon they can do it better!

Very best of luck. Ebay is a fun place to trade - just remember it is MORE than a full time post, and a difficult place to make a legitamate living.

We see it as the cherry on the cake of our turnover, and don't see it ever person more than that, despite the hours of effort that jump into it.

=)

Also buying in bulk mind your Ps and Qs of stuff that looks too cheap - there are an awful lot of counterfeits out near and unsafe stuff too (like the recent lead within toys scare).
