Wanting to do a home buisness on ebay what items will sell to make lots of money and be popular all year round
Answers: Depends how much money you have to invest. I started buying stuff from pound shops and selling on ebay for twice the amount, now running a legitimate business selling other people's high value stuff and I take a third of the selling price as commission. Also, I would buy seasonal stuff (Valentine's, Christmas), really cheap stuff but people buy it. Good luck x

Ok ... now the reality ... There are millions of sellers on eBay with exactly the same idea ... many have made lots of money, but equally as many have lost lots of money - because they either haven't done their research, have no idea of customer service, or just bad management.
If you want to make money with popular items, you will need plenty of capital ... you're not asking how to start a small business with little capital and as you seem to want to make plenty of money, you obviously need the $$$ to start.
So, assuming you've got the cash, and you understand the basics of running a business - because if you don't, it would help if you research that area first. Its imperative to be successful on ebay, to understand those basics.
Then ... research the categories that you have interests in.
Are there already way too many sellers there - if there are, you won't make money unless your items are unique or exclusive to you. Also you need to find out if the wholesaler you're planning on buying from will allow their goods to be sold on eBay - many exclusive ones won't!
Then ... once you've settled on the category, check out the prices things are selling for. You need to know that the price you're buying at will still allow a healthy profit after ebay fees, taxes etc.
